It’s an arrow puller…

It works as it should. It’s simple design that makes it easier to pull arrows out of a target by giving you better grip. The material feels high quality and durable. Easily clips on my hip quiver. Update: used it in the rain and man it gets a great grip on the arrow shaft.

Very Useful

This is a type of archery tool I have been using for many years. I bought this one to have one of these handy in another bow case. Since I have used several of these over years, comparison cannot be helped. Bottom line ... this works just fine. It seems to be durable. But compared to my favorite arrow puller that is very similarly designed, my old one is better. This one simply does not generate as much friction as the old one. The texture of the material that it is made of has a slicker surface. Also, my older one is slightly larger in diameter. That allows it geometrically easer to exert more pressure. And finally, the finger groves feel comfortable to the inexperienced user, but these finger groves result in an even smaller functional diameter. Recommendations to the manufacture, make it: very slightly larger in diameter, if finger groves exist, make it even a bit larger in diameter to account for the finger groves. Find a fractionally softer and less slick material for its construction.

Nifty device!

It just works. The ring and snap hook is a bonus. I took it off for a key chain. The puller just slips I a pocket and works exactly as advertised.

Check your arrow diameter before you buy, may suit lefty's more

I bought this in case my arrow buried itself in the target, but it rarely actually helped due to being designed for a thinner arrow shaft than my Ares Victory arrows. Additionally, the finger grips always wound up on the wrong side of the puller to help increase my grip. As I'm right handed and thus tend to pull my arrows with that hand, a lefty with thin arrows might find this actually useful. (I did successfully use it a time or two to pull a classmate's thinner arrows without too much of a problem.)

Material is too slippery - doesn't grip arrow

I bought this to use for indoor barebow practice. I have 4mm arrow shafts and they slip right through this puller. The material is not grippy enough and is even a little slippery when trying to grip the arrow. Does not work at all.
