Excellent
I didn't even know this type of product was even available until I got an ad in the mail for the same idea that looked better but was double in price. I looked on Amazon and this item popped up. I bought it for my elerly mother who can't get off a normal toilet and she doesn't have the strength in her arms to pull herself off the toilet risers using the safety railing. So we purchased this lifter and it's a God send for her. It looks very mechanical but it works and that's all that matters.

This is wonderful for the elderly or anyone who is struggling to stand! Great value!
We had looked at a number of options for our Dad as he was struggling to stand. First, he is tall and a big man. Has a lift chair so we investigated a number of options to help him with the toilet after he fell and fractured his hip and shoulder on the same side. He couldn’t grab hold and pull himself up so we had to find a solution. My husband is an engineer so we didn’t have any issues with the install or adding an electrical outlet to plug it in. We had to run it across the vanity originally until he could install an outlet lower, but that was not a problem. Dad loves his lift toilet seat and he is able to get up under his own power (although still needs some hygiene help bc of the broken shoulder), but him being able to get himself upright has allowed a nurses aide to help in other areas. This product was WAY less expensive than other options we considered and from what we have experienced, works better and takes up a lot less space than any of the others. We had only a few inches to work with between the vanity, toilet, and shower (older home) so that was also a deciding factor. Came mostly put together. Only challenge was getting the pin in the slot to hold the drive gear, but that was more to do with space in our bathroom that anything else. Overall, BEST value for our money, works great, no complaints!! Would highly recommend!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE... HOWEVER, PRODUCT IS AMAZING
** UPDATE: Customer Service Rep, Supervisor reached out to me yesterday and requested the invoice order pic again. Said they would be sending out a replacement liner. I will update when I receive. ** Taking a star off for POOR customer service. Purchased the elongated corded power version. Assembly was mildly difficult because I needed motor on opposite side. Watched the Youtube vid for installation and it was a breeze. It did require 2 people to install. The product itself has been a game changer for my family member. Very simple to use. I am helping due to age and disabilities, but feel they could handle on their own if needed. They're about 5' 7" and the toilet itself is an elevated toilet. I raise it a couple inches and lower for usage. When they need to rise, I simply operate the lift to their desired comfort. We do have bar mounted to the wall in front of the toilet to grab onto. They also have their walker in front of them for safety and stability. My issue? The plastic liner that sits below the toilet seat was cracked where the bar that raises the seat comes through. I reached out to customer service on July 21st. They requested pics and a pic of Amazon invoice, which I promptly sent. Rep acknowledged receipt. Then, I didn't hear anything. Reached out on July 26th. Rep responded on 7/27th and said they were working on it. I said I only wanted a replacement for the liner. I was pleased with the unit itself. Haven't heard back. Sent a message this morning, 8/2 and received a bounce back email stating the rep was out until tomorrow. I don't understand how hard this could be! When you pay over $600 for a toilet seat, it should arrive, defect free and in working order. And a replacement for a PLASTIC liner should be a simple process!

Dignity Saver
My dad is in his mid 70s and can’t get around like he used to. This gadget was worth every penny and has given him(and the rest of us) peace of mind b/c he can now take care of a very basic necessity without assistance. You cannot put a price on that, so this was a steal. It was easy to install-I had to flip the side the motor was on and it was still super easy. Make sure you measure your space-the unit is pretty wide.

Maintain your independence
This is a God send! I have muscular dystrophy and was having issues getting up from toilet myself. I already had a raised seat with arms but it got to point that wasn’t enough. I’m only 50 and my independence is very important to me. The thought of needing someone else to help me go to bathroom was very depressing. Then I saw this and figured I would try, what did I have to lose? It lifts smoothly and slowly enough so I can get my balance as it goes up. Thank you to whoever designed this!!

I like it!
Easier to install than expected, though the included bolts didn't match the description in the instructions, requiring a trip to the hardware store. Lift operation is easy and smooth. I was a little surprised how far up and forward it goes! The device feels plenty sturdy for my nearly 250 lbs. The arms of the lift are something of a constraint to my legs. I have larger thighs and prefer to "manspread" on the toilet. The arms make that difficult. I have a set of add-on arms I've been using with the toilet for awhile to aide standing. The Tilt is sized such that I can retain the add-on arms as well. The Tilt has no seat cover, unfortunately. This means I have no backrest while sitting.

A "God-send" if you have trouble standing up from seated position
This is an exceptionally well engineered and well constructed toilet seat lift system (built in the USA). It was very easy to install using the clear instruction booklet that came with it. The only downside is that when it is installed on a toilet that is already 17 inches high, the lift seat adds 4.5 inches to the height so that the feet of a person of average height (5'10") will not touch the floor when seated. For the standard lower 14" toilet height it should be perfect. I am using the 17" toilet and use a half step (available on Amazon: Evelots Indoor/Outdoor Non-Slip Plastic Half Step for Elderly Mobility) for the foot rest, which works well. It is easy to clean when needed. I recommend this seat for anyone young or old who has lost strength in arms and legs and cannot stand up from a seated position without help.
