Funky style at a reasonable price

First let me say I had fairly high expectations for this pendant before we ever got it as we had a look we were going for and this seemed like it would fit the bill and I was going to be bothered if this didn't work... We got this one to spruce up out kitchen island, we have lights right above our island that were recessed and we wanted a bit more drama. (for recessed light conversions you will need a conversion kit sold by other companies) They sent us 1 light for review and we liked it so much we immediately bought a second to match (Same day we got the review) and it has now arrived. The solid metal triangles do block the light emitted from the sides to a decent degree (and casts some pretty neat shadows around the room) but the light directed down is more than adequate, I might suggest not using a super bright bulb as those patches where you can see the bulb can be super bright if the bulb is... The install was easy and straight forward (once we got the conversion kit installed, but that's a whole different story!) For these you simply mount the bracket, adjust the length of the cord, secure it to length, connect the 3 wires up, secure the pendant to the mounting bracket with 2 screws, put in your bulbs and turn everything on. I had these installed within 25 minutes even when trying to be a perfectionist about the exact length.... If anything changes with the quality or my feeling on these I will update this review. Well Made Lamp With a Fascinating Light Pattern

I received this lamp in exchange for a fair review. I appreciate the offer and I am happy to do so. I chose to hang this lamp over the countertop in the kitchen. It really has the right side for islands, tables, and counters. It appears a bit bulky in the photos, but in person it looks very lightweight. It’s made of metal, but switched on it almost looks like paper or fabric. The geometric shapes throw a really cool fractal light pattern. The lamp comes very well packaged. Even the cable is wrapped in plastic. It’s not difficult to install. I chose to just screw it on the ceiling and let the excess cable hang over to the wall, where it runs down at a concealed area next to a kitchen cabinet. I’m not sure if I am happy with it that way, or if I am going to install it inside the ceiling. But I can say the included hardware is complete, the braided cable has a good quality, and all screws and threads are well done. I am not a huge fan of the silver brush strokes inside the lamp, but I don’t hate it. The finish is even and with no major flaws. Being made of metal it’s easy to paint. This is a good product. It’s made in China, but the design almost feels Scandinavian. It fits in many settings, from minimalist, mid-century, modern design, or more robust interiors. This is why I’m giving it five stars. Really interesting lamp

We ordered this pendant for our sunroom. We have a cathedral ceiling and its a relatively small space so we were looking for something with some visual interest that wasn't too large. This pendant seems to fit the bill. The shade is metal which i appreciate and is black inside and out - we may try to give it some color on the inside in the coming months for a little more visual interest. The pendant is made from quality parts making installation very straight forward. If you have every changed a light out before or are open to watching a handful of videos online this is definitely doable for most DIY'ers who are comfortable with electricity. Very happy with the purchase.

Quick and easy way to modernize your decor.

The EGLO 203522A East Village Pendants offers a quick solution in updating your decor for that modern appeal. Packaging was fine with no damage to the product. With the 72" length, there is plenty of cord for longer installations. We decided to replace our hanging light in our kitchen with this one as a quick fix. Given its relatively small size and weight, installing this was a breeze for one person. Trimming the cord to the proper length and reconnecting the wires took very little time. Solid construction but the metal is a bit thin, not that it matters since its mostly for looks. Overall a solid buy. , 7.20471 x 7.2 x 72,

A modern look...

This is a pendant light that will mount on the ceiling. You can adjust the length of the pendant. This is an unusual looking pendant light: it has a steel shade painted a matte black on the exterior and a reflective interior of brushed silver. This would look beautiful in a masterbath, kitchen or bedroom.

Unique quality pendant lights

We are mostly very happy with these lights. They look great and work well. Installation was relatively straight forward yet it still took two of us five hours to hang three lights. The plate could be larger to fully cover the ceiling hole as they just line up with hole edge. You would need to look closely to notice this. The screws are on the side vs on the bottom of the plate which made installation more difficult. You need to line up the small hole in the bracket with the hole in the plate in our install. We are using 60 watt equivalent LED natural bulbs in the photo. Very bright so we may swap out for less wattage but for now we like having a bright island for food prep.

Looks cheap

Bought 3 and returned them swiftly. They look cheap, low quality design and finishes. The cord doesn't come with a metal cover either, it is exposed fabric wire that looks cheap, fraying out of the box, and fails to stay straight. Ended up purchasing some nice Westinghouse lights instead. I do not recommend this product.
