Quality is lacking
This is a great looking comforter when it arrives and is super soft. As per my usual process, I washed it in cool water, gentle cycle, prior to use. It was the only thing I washed. Upon opening the washer there was nasty looking white stuff all over the comforter. I started peeling it off and it seemed to be cottony type fluff. I rewashed it thinking something was wrong. After the second wash it looked worse! I realized whatever brushed feel it had must have come off in the wash. I placed it into the dryer and it came out with white pilling all over it. I used packing tape to help get that off. This is a fairly pricey twin comforter from a premium brand but it's far from premium. It came in a box from a Chinese manufacturer and the quality just doesn't match the price. I expected more from Eddie Bauer. My son wanted to keep it so I decided not to return it, but I can't recommend it.

Pretty Thin for Eddie Bauer brand
I'm very shocked at how thin this quilt is for being Eddie Bauer label. Love the color so plan on keeping it, just which it was higher quality for what I paid.

Eddie Bauer comforter
Love this comforter! It is made very well. You can't go wrong and the bear pillow is what makes it look so good.

appearances can be deceiving.
I purchased this quilt and adored it but had to return it because the fabric attached lint from the surface it was near which was an Eddie Bauer sheet. I believe the problem was because of how the fabric was plied which caused the fiber to tangle itself onto any lint it was around and not be able to removed. Because of recycling and a history of spinning fibers, it is not uncommon to strengthen cloth by doing this but as this quilt was a beautiful thing I really didn't want to loose something about it affect allergies and caused reactions which is why I returned it.,because after washing it wasn't able to be cleared of the debris.,no matter how hard I tried.

This bedding has a lovely color and is of very good quality. It is perfect for our son's room. Plus it's easy to clean.

We purchased this for my son's dorm room because of the neutral colors - reversible blue and gray - and the perfect weight, somewhere between a comforter and a coverlet. Very impressed by the quality and value. Highly recommend!
