Great for performance, bad for flight time.
This prop is great for lifting my Micro Trojan off the ground very quickly and for maneuvering in the air. I also like that it's shorter then the original prop, so it doesn't hit the ground as much and it looks nice on the plane. I have noticed that my plane has a different landing technique now. I've always slow my plane down before coming in for a landing. But with this prop, I need to slow it down and once it hit the ground, speed it back up to prevent it from flipping over. Some might say that it could burn out the motor because of the extra thrust being pulled by the motor, but how can it if it uses the same motor on the latest micro Mustang plane from Parkzone that already COMES with this four bladed prop. Both planes use the same motor as you can clearly see it on Hobby King's website under parts for each model aircraft. The worse that you may experience is a shorter flight time, so set your timer count down on the Spectrum controller to 4 minutes and 30 seconds instead of 5 minutes and 30 seconds if you're using a 150 mAh 20C battery on the micro planes. Even if you are buying this prop as a replacement, you might as well give yourself some time to decide. Do you want more thrust in the air or would you like more flight time? I've been flying with the two prop long enough that I wanted to give this a try. I'm thinking about buying another set of two bladed props just because I'll know I'll miss that ONE extra minute... Or maybe I'll just use that money to buy another battery. ;) Update: I recommend buying this10 pairs JST Plug Connector RC Lipo Battery Male/Female for your micro planes,Battery Connector w/Wire this to make into an adapter (connect one of the JST plugs with this to make an adapater to check for voltage level and to use on your smart chargers), then when you have that set up, you can go ahead and buySyma X1 Battery (2 pieces) these batteries to attach to your micro planes. If you line it up with the center of gravity, you should be able to take off very nicely with the added weight. This four bladed prop has no trouble lifting the micro planes off the ground and this battery delievers! I get 6 minutes and 30 seconds per flight on the micro Trojan instead of 3 minutes and 30 seconds with the 150 mah 20c battery that usually comes with the micro. Hope you like my review! :)
