Came apart.
These shoes, which I gave to my son for his birthday on Feb. 9, 2023, have already come apart at the toe. The sole is flapping loose in the front on this shoe. Do NOT BUY! Real Doc Martens they are not. Got these to replace his Doc Martins that he has worn for over 10 years, and were just showing some heavy wear.

My first 8053s were from the 90s. Not the most stylish, but a great sole, very comfortable and great grip on just about any surface. For 15 years, I bough size 10US gauchos when the collar inevitably failed. When my most recent pair required replacement, I ordered the usual size 10, but swam in them. I sent them back for a size 9, but went for the Harvest instead. The Good: I really like the look of the harvest, and over the years they've narrowed the toebox a little, It has gone from a bit of a clunker to a very nice looking shoe. The sole is still as good as ever. The less good: The 9 is a little small, but a much better alternative for me than the 10. The leather is a little thinner. Overall, very happy with the price, hope the shoes hold up as well as before.

I just got them and they appear to be of really good quality. They loook awesome and are comfortable out of the box. The sole loooks difficult to split sooo I'll see how long it lasts. Overall out of the box they are 10/10 great shoes at a good price compared to that of other web sites. I don't see where they are made on the bottom of the shoe soooo idk where. But who cares they look great, feel great, and seem of great quality. Honestly though, they seem easy to scratch as I was able to scuff them with my fingernails. But the scratch marks came out sooo no big deal. There one mild stitching boo boo which could explain the $50 difference in price compared to that of other websites. But that's awesome, to have one tiny blemish on $125 shoes and get them for $80. Sooo I think I got a good deal. And I bet my girlfriend will think they are sweet!

Great quality shoe for value.
The sizing on the website is confusing . When I ordered a Mens 10 , a size nine was delivered . I returned the order. Second time ordering same thing but I caught problem on confirmation and cancelled order. So I ordered a size mens 11 , and I got my size 10 that I needed. Is it user error or website ?

Good Old Dr. Marten Shoes w/ Lower Quality Leather Tops
These are good old Dr. Martens shoes however, there is a noticeable difference in the way the leather looks after flexing the toes when compared to my last pair I wore over 3 (?) years ago. The leather over the toe and tongue area is creased differently like the material is different from my last pair. Like it contains more cardboard and less leather? Maybe it's more still. I say this because there are visible creases where my toes bend when I squat down. I still like them for the way they look and fit and feel and will prob remain a fan.

Narrow Fitting Shoes!!
These are very tight fitting shoes. I have a slightly wider foot, but getting a size larger usually makes everything perfect. I can even place these up, because they are just so tight! Wish they were wider, cause I really like the look of them...

Solid, quality shoe
The Dr. Martens 8053 5 Eye Padded Collar Boot,Gaucho were purchased as a gift and the recipient was pleased with the gift and said that the sizing of the shoe was true to size and felt that they were a solid, good quality shoe. The recipient is a world traveler of eclectic and often rustic places and felt these shoes were up to the adventures!! My husband also has a pair of Dr. Martens in a different color, same model and has had them for quite some time and feels that it is a well made product.

Nice but stiff to break in
Nice looking shoe. Put mink oil on them and gives the leather a richer look. Fit is good but a VERY stiff shoe. Still not broken in after a month+.

Muy buen producto
Llevo más de 10 años utilizando zapatos de Dr. Martens. En general estoy satisfecho, es muy cómodo. La única vez me fallo fue la compra que hice por el año 2015 lo compré en plació de hierro, en poco tiempo de uso se desprendía suelo, como que no estaba bien pegados las capas del suelo. de allí nunca tuve problemas.
