Good but…
I use this when I know I may not be able to wait until my baby burps or if she’s in deep sleep so evening hours and when i go out. So far, rarely any spit ups. My daughter also drinks her milk really fast so instead of manually pacing her, these bottles forces her to slow down. However, I have noticed that these bottles leak very easily. It tipped over in bed for a couple of secs, cap on and all, while i was getting my baby into a comfortable feeding position and milk had already spilled out. The pacifier that it comes with went right into the garbage. Didn’t even get to use it because the first time I washed it I noticed soapy water got inside the teat and it won’t come out so I washed it a second time. Again water got inside. After flicking it and letting it dry for hours, the water is still trapped inside. This made me very uncomfortable because that leads to bacteria and mold. Consequently, it had to be discarded

I wouldn’t use any other!!
My girls are 19 and 21. We didn’t have these and if we did they were far too expensive!! My grandbaby uses these. The nipples are soft and she indicated so the flow matches their progression. She doesn’t get a bunch of extra air and they are easy to clean.

Great set!
This is a great set for a mom looking for the starter kit. I bought this for a baby shower and they LOVED it! It had all the starter tools you need. Also, Doctor Brown’s bottles in my opinion are the best bottle out there. My son had lots of tummy issues and this bottle was the best on his belly (gas wise).

Great low flow bottles
I got these for the low flow factor which is great, easy on a preemie (5wks early[4lbs]). They work wonderfully with barely any issues, like over filling his mouth, our the nips size etc. Easy to clean and it keeps the air out which means less hiccups or sick ups, so for that the bottles are great. However the pacifier once washed (obviously before use) some how filled with water (it was not submerged) so if you need bottles great, bonus pacifier... not great (at least mine wasn't). Still a definite useful value. That's the only reason I dropped a star.

Leaks a lot, expect to do more laundry
When I first read the (1 star) reviews, a lot of people had said that they leaked. A few mentioned they used a dish washer, so I just assumed that was the main cause, with a couple of exceptions of bad luck. Unfortunately, I now see what everyone was saying... me and my wife let the bottles/shields/soothers/breast pump first soak in warm water in the sink; then we use the Philips Microwave Steam Sterilizer (search this on Amazon for clarity > B007VBXKG2). Turns out, these just have a poor design quality as after one wash (when we first got them we washed them all), every single one leaks. That being said, our daughter's outfit always gets soaked (sometimes more than others mind you), so changing becomes a requirement some times, unless you're okay with your child sitting in wet clothes. Lastly, if breast milk is something that is difficult for you to make, then consider another product as you'll lose anywhere from 5-10% of the milk in the bottle... that doesn't sound like a lot, but again if making breast milk is difficult, and your child likes to eat a lot, then this will make your parenting more difficult... it does help for a colicky baby though, just sucks it wasn't designed better.

Major flaw
As a whole we love dr, brown bottles and have tried a few but a major flaw we have been finding is the milk leaks out of them warming many times! We have tried everything yo prevent this. Even yesterday I had warmed a bottle to take out while running errands and when I went to grab something from the diaper bag the milk had all gone up through the vent into the nipple and had collected in the lid and was pouring out onto everything. There was a puddle in my stroller and the diaper bag was soaked. Kind of fed up After this event and not sure if we will try something else now. The formula that my baby is on is quite expensive for being a preemie and it’s such a waste not to mention then I was stranded with a screaming child out in the city with no bottle.

Came as described
Great bottle set, quality is great, price point is fair, came with everything specified in description. My little man is a puker and was recommended these bottles by our nurse, notice a difference in amount of spit up. He seems much more pleasant after any bottle feed as I think it has to do with the lack of air consumed durning the bottle feedings. Babies are mysteries though.
