Could only find two so happy to get this one.

I have done this one before 26 years ago for my son and he lost it in an apartment fire. ( no he did not start it. The people upstairs did). I made it for his birth. I am so glad I get to make it for him. The only problem I have with it is that some of the stamped X's are so faded or not even visible that it is making it a little hard to work with. I usually only do counted but this was easy as I was super sick and it made it easier on me. Other than the faded stuff I am very happy. Yes I would purchase from them again.

Not enough string, but super cute

I ran out of the yellow string with 4 stitches left. I have not finished yet but one of the browns looks like it is also going to run out before I get done. Make sure your local yarn shop has some similar string if you buy this. But it is super cute and it’s a fun project. Also my needle snapped in half from use. The coating rubbed off and it snapped where my fingers had been sitting.

Adorable!

What a cute pattern! It took about 5 weeks to do the stitching and then another day to add a backing, some batting, and a border. Just in time for the baby shower! I added the backing because I didn't take the time to use the hidden stitch method. I simply didn't have the patience. It took a few minutes to figure out how to stitch the x's and keep them even and the same size. I recommend a hoop or frame to keep the fabric taut...it helps to ensure the needle goes straight through. Overall, very pleased. Hope my niece feels the same when it is gifted.

Beautiful pattern but floss tangles and knots. Frustrating

I bought this to make as a gift for my new baby grandson.The pattern is amazing I love it. However the floss that came with it tangles and knots.

No where near enough thread

Cute but I have to go to the store and try to match thread colors because they don’t give you nearly enough of certain colors. So frustrating!!!!

Easy to follow design, quality product and provided materials

Blown away by how inexpensive this was. Everything you need is provided but I recommend buying a loop so your stitches are tight and a threader to save your patience. I chose to follow the pattern but made adjustments along the way—don’t worry, the x’s wash out easily so they won’t show once you’re done. I just felt some areas looked better with more or less stitches. Also, pay attention to the borders. When the x goes over don’t stitch that half of it. Looks cleaner (see pic). Just bought three more from this same company because I was so impressed.

Second time making this quilt

I am now working on the quilt for the second time. First was stolen during the moving process. So I am replacing the quilt for my great-granddaughter. I have one concern when working the quilt now compared to the first one I received 2 years ago. The black thread is of very poor quality. Very difficult to work with. This was not an issue with the first quilt.
