No entalhe automático, o detector exibe automaticamente o tipo e o tamanho do metal encontrado. Got mine a week ago...
Only used it three times, and first time with any metal detector. It's pretty simple to use, and seem pretty accurate. After ordering, I spent the time waiting for it to arrive, looking for forums, with people using them. A little discouraging, but think that people tend to stand behind their own choices with such things. Learned a lot of things about settings and technique. My first time out, found a 1974 penny, 2 inch piece of aluminum tubing, and a piece of trim or flashing. Today I found a 1994 quarter, a beer can, a hot wheels car, and some sort of non-magnetic melted blob. I haven't been digging up every beep, but might get to it eventually. Trying to be selective, to save on digging in my backyard. Thought it would be easier, but two things make it a chore. Tree roots, and busted pieces, of what I suspect to be concrete blocks. Other than that, the soil is sandy. Might look into a small landscaping shovel, since I've been pretty close to where the item actual is buried, don't think I need 10" holes. Figure that I won't get bored on my own property for months. Little hesitant to take out some place public yet. Not real sure how people would feel about holes being dug. This thing does work well, found metal in every hole I dug, no treasures as yet, but just getting started. June 12, 2011 update: Dug up the backyard pretty good, all for $2.79, nothing really old, 60s &70s. Did learn the detector pretty well though. Walmart has a $7 digging tool, help a great deal, and does less landscape damage. When you get a consistent tone as you pass over a target, and the ID and depth, stays the same with each pass, in any direction, it will be the item on the screen, and at the estimated depth. Dimes and pennies are about the same, sometimes though. Also found it a good idea to check a little wider, even mark the center. Found a steel fence post, that read as a $1 coin. Had I check a little further, would have noticed that it was long. Little too focused on finding the best place to dig. This was after I had already gotten all the sure thing coins, in auto-notch mode. I have no regrets on picking up this detector, works every bit as advertised. No silver, gold, or jewelery, but hadn't expect any in my own yard. Been a little hot out lately, to hit a park or some place, but will soon.

Pretty good metal detector
I have owned this detector for the past week. I feel that I have used this enough to write the review already, and if anything changes, I will update everyone. I have over 15 hours already in use believe it or not so here is my review: The Detector: I bought it for a few reasons, one of which being the display of the type of metal object and depth. This is pretty cool, but it is often not correct. I dug up an old bike seat and I was getting all sorts of readings in a small area which made it look like several coins. I have had my share of false readings and I am doing the correct sweep method. I have just 5 days found about 35 cents, a bike seat, an old U-Haul type truck that was like 8 inches deep, and some screws and random metal. I am honing my skills in the sweeping, the cross-section pin-pointing, and am learning to re-check my spots before digging, and I really mean re-checking like 3 times by turning off the detector and going over it again and again. I have a few large holes that were false readings. Overall, I definitely give it 4 stars because it is a ton of fun, and it really is finding things in my yard. I can't wait to go to the beach. The pinpointer- I have read that this is not that great and has it's issues, but I could not tell. Mine works really well. I have a 3 year old that loves to dig with me, and this not only is helpful to me to use in the digs, it gives her something to go walk around and mess with. I think if it broke I would have to purchase another one. The bag- It is nice and I appreciate having it. It is your basic carrying bag, which might be worth 15-20 dollars. I also should say I am probably a novice metal detector, and I really am getting better with this one. I do recommend it.

Bounty Hunter QDII
The Quickdraw II is a great all-around metal detector. I mostly use it in the "All metal" mode but have also used it to notch out unwanted metals where it performs as advertised. I've dug up relics and coins, and the coin ID has been accurate 99 percent of the time. You get used to the different sounds and after a while can guess what metal you're digging (tab, rusted can, etc). I don't believe the depth indicator works accurately on mine so I use it as a guide moreso than gospel. Many detector ads tout depth finding ability but how deep do you really need to go? Most of the stuff you'll find is not down that deep (2-8 inches or so - course your milege may vary). Took it to the beach and was satisfied. In the dry sand, it performed very well (get a good heavy-duty sand scooper for the beach). However, when used too close to the water or in wet sand, the detector gives off numerous false readings as the sodium in the water drives it crazy. To adjust, I turned the sensitivity almost all the way down and was able to use the detector - but doing so sacrifices capability to detect some objects and probably gives up depth. The computer module is not water proof so you probably don't want to get too close anyway. I purchased the 10-inch coil for the beach and was pleased as it allows coverage of more area in one swipe and penetrates a little deeper. Difficulty with the 10-inch is pin-pointing the location of the object when digging in the earth but not an issue at the beach (much easier to scoop sand than earth). The 8-inch coil that comes with the unit is much better suited for "zeroing in" on your find. Overall, I'm very pleased with the unit and highly recomment it for general purpose metal detecting. If detecting at the beach was my main focus, then I would look for a different detector.

This is a great metal detector especially for the price
This is a great metal detector especially for the price, once you practice a bit learning the controls it will pick up small items such as coins or rings 8 to 10 inches deep without any trouble. Listening to the different tones you will soon learn what type of metal you are detecting most of the time and the pin pointer works really well also for the price saving time finding those small items that can be hard to see in the dirt. Even thought this detector doesn't have pin point it's very easy to pin point an object by swinging side to side then front to back, so for the price I think this detector would be pretty tough to beat.

Amazing. Works as advertised
Took a while to figure out. But a good day of playing around and some YouTube videos this metal detector is awesome. I bought the 10 inch coil replacement afterwards and is now a 6 star rating out of 5. Couldn't be happier. Well built. Easy to put together and the pinpointer is a time saver and works awesome!!

Not high text but gets the job done!
While this metal detector doesn't have all the fancy bells and whistles, it has never let me down. I have always been successful in finding something in the ground. More than 100 hours-of-use later, it still works like a charm. I would recommend it.

Not too bad
Seems to work ok Lots of false reads and do not seem to go as deep as they claim. I tested coins and such at different depths in sand . Think price was not too.bad for package
