Installed in one evening

Recently installed on my 2020 Ford Fusion S. Install goes quickly if you watch a few YouTube videos beforehand. If your not opposed to cutting and soldering the wires to the taillight harnesses, there is a small rubber grommet in a hole just above the 2 screws that hold the taillight in. Cut the wires, poke a hole in the grommet, feed the wires through, and then solder them back together. Probably just as fast as trying to fish that entire harness through the body panel. The most difficult part was jacking the rear of the car up and running the single wire to the battery up front. After getting it over the fuel tank, I used a fishing pole to pull a string from the front of the car over the top of a body panel that fits snugly up against the bottom of the car. I then attached the string to the wire and pulled it up to the battery. I hope this review helps others.

Yes I put a hitch on a Ford fusion. Yes I pull a 16ft Jon boat with it. This was easy to install and love taking my boat out with my car, so many people think I'm nuts!

Power must come from the battery

This wiring harness worked well once I got it installed. I installed it on a 2016 Ford Fusion SE. install went well but I had to run the long power wire all the way from my trunk back to the front of my car where the battery is. This kit may be a bit difficult to install if you have all wheel drive because of where the wire comes through the trunk. I didn’t have a problem because I have the 2.5l engine that is front wheel drive.

Well worth the money. Install can be tricky.

Worth the money for not having to cut any factory wires on your vehicle. Just a helpful heads up installing, at least with my model car. I have 2014 Ford Fusion. The installation instructions aren't the best. As far as getting the connectors to the tail lights, just cut the wires, fight and fish them through the cut or slice in the grommet, and then tape, or better solder them back together. And as for the power wire you probably should not run it through the front drivers door and through the fender under the hood and should try to fight it through with the other wires and grommet in the firewall way up under the steering wheel. Hopes this saves someone else some time and head ache.

Price is right, not the easiest to install, but that is the vehicles fault.

This product worked, and was installed exactly as the video described. I ended up hiring "my car guy" to do this for me, was not worth the headache I get when anything takes longer than 60 seconds to accomplish. My car guy said install was a breeze though, and it worked flawlessly on first try. I gave this 5 stars on install ease as it was just as easy as the instructions and self help video say, it was just above my level of comfort, mainly my backs level of comfort.

Good harness only one surprise

It’s a good harness but the directions said that the connections were inside the trunk and you could store the cord in there they were not, they were underneath the vehicle so the cord is hanging around outside

The video makes it look easy it's not

Not as easy as they make it look to run the wires for the tail lights I ended up losing my bumper up the slide the wires in between the bumper in them bumper reinforcement other than that it work great

Simple a installé et aucun fil a couper ou trou a faire.

Simple a installer mais un peu difficile a passé les fil dans les ailes. Plusieurs vidéos youtube pour aider a l'installation. Installation plus facile sur Ford fusion Énergie parce-que la batterie est dans la valise donc pas de fil a passé sous le véhicule.
