Unlike others complaining, this harness came with everything pictured, the harness, the relays, the fuses, and detailed instructions which was really only needed for the relays and fuses because some Vehicles you must add these to the panel under the hood. The harness was a direct plug-in, and only work once the relays and fuses were installed. Most newer vehicles that are capable for Towing unless setup already at the factory they will not have the relays and fuses installed for the trailer lights to work as they are on a completely separate circuit all their own.

Nice to find your 2007 Equinox already is pre-wired for trailer lights. YES under your side stored jack, way down in the bottom, fastened to the outside wall, is a factory plug that this adapter plugs right into. Then add the 3 fuses to the under hood fuse box, plus add two relays into the same fuse box and you have trailer lights without any tools needed. ALL fuses and relays are included, along with the wireing (about 5 feet long) with the flat 4 way plug.

I was able to install this in a 2007 Suzuki ...

I was able to install this in a 2007 Suzuki XL7 in mere minutes. Installing the relays is a little challenging though. I couldn't find any orientation marks on the relays (they can fit the socket two ways) nor on the fuse box. The instructions were not very helpful for this. I did notice that the existing relays in the fuse box were oriented so the that text on their tops could be read standing in front of the vehicle. I decided to try this orientation first when inserting these new relays. To help eliminate any doubt, I inserted the key into the vehicle ignition switch and turned it to the "RUN" position (without actually starting the vehicle). I turned on the right turn signal then lightly set the new relay in the location for the right trailer turn signal. As soon as the relay pins made contact with the socket, the relay began to operate. I could both feel the relay operate and hear it. I inserted the relay fully into the socket. I repeated this procedure for the other relay, with the left turn signal operating.

Super easy installation in my 2007 Chevrolet Equinox

This couldn't have gone better. So easy to install and it works great. I installed it in my 2007 Chevrolet Equinox. You just open the access door for the jack and remove the jack. At the bottom of the compartment is a connector that the wiring harness plugs into. I installed the insulation cap to make sure nothing ever touched ground and then I stored the hack and the wiring harness (because I didn't need it right now) and closed up the jack access door. Then, under the hood you open the fuse panel and locate 3 fuse, and 2 relay locatioins that aren't populated (as identified in the installation instructions) and install the 3 fuses and 2 relays that come with the kit. Reinstall the fuse panel cover and slam the hood. You're done.

Easy Install, Functions Perfect.

So much better than the old school way of splicing in wires and having the signal blink really fast, and trial and error trying to get the right wires connected to each other. This is a simple 15 minute install and it works flawlessly..Thanks to the fuses and relays, the lights function 100% perfect and your blinker is normal LOL, and you have a much neater and more reliable connection.

GOT THE PARCELL, OPENED TO FIND THE PACKAGE WAS STAPLED ON EACH SIDE AND ALL THE RELAYS WERE MISSING, THE MOST IMPORTANT AND EXPENSIVE PART...WAKE UP AND TAKE OFF THE MASKS, YOUR BRAINS NEED OXYGEN TO WORK PROPERLY, IT'S COMMON SENSE, GEZZZ
