works great and beautiful

I'm very pleased with this rain chain. Very pretty. Some water does splash outside the cups, but I guess that's normal as this is my first time using one and nothing to compare it to. So much better than using a bucket to catch the water (under awning edge by front door) and looks much nicer.

Really nice quality and detail

Bought for my wife to hang on the corner of our new front porch. It is a nice quality chain. Sturdy, weighty, and the color is great.

These work!

I live in Florida with very heavy rains. Had an awkward spot for a downspout, so I tried this. It does work! You need a catch basin at the bottom, a large flowerpot works well and is attractive.

I love this!

This rain chain is really pretty and seems sturdy. When it rains moderately, the rain looks so cool going down the cups and chain. When we get hard thunderstorms the rain just totally overwhelms the top cup and splashes out of the chain onto the ground, but that isn't the fault of the chain.

The media could not be loaded. These rain chains are lovely. We opted for rain chains over down spouts around our front door and once they came in, my husband liked them more than I did. The installation process was easy and did not require additional materials, but we purchased the Monarch gutter adapter 20041 to direct more water directly down through the chains to eliminate some of the initial spray. During minimal rainfall, the chains are like pretty fountains. During high winds, they whip around so I recommend staking them very well. During heavy rainfall, the gushing water in small areas can still cause a bit of spray but it is temporary. They look much better from the road than downspouts and it adds a little aesthetics to the porch area.

Nice Chain, Nice finish!

The media could not be loaded. Why did I rate it 5 stars? Well, all of these chains are rather cheaply made honestly. The metal is thin and the finish is generally thin as well. What I found when these arrived is that the are not that bad in either area. They are a bit thin still but not so much that they are flimsy or delicate. The finish is better than most of what I've see, however, it is still on the thin side but it seems to be holding up after several months of use. What did I like about them? First, I'd have to say the two facts mentioned above are definitely "likes" in my book. But to go beyond that I would add that they are 8.5' long for a very reasonable price compared to other chains. I actually used them with rain barrels SO, I shortened them both ( this is a very simple task and anyone can easily do this) and ended up with two pieces that I put together for a 3rd barrel! Nice! Overall Thoughts? Rain chains are expensive for what they are really. BUT, I think for the build quality of this chain compared to others, and the price point, you can't go wrong.

Beautiful rain chain!

The media could not be loaded. I attached two chains together using the included ring, and they blend together perfectly. I coiled the bottom in the bottom of a plastic barrell and added some stones to the barrell so it's very sturdy. These definitely add curb appeal to any home (over a plain downspout), and are just relaxing to watch! Love this rain chain!

Pretty good

It's pretty good, looks nice, but does splash a fair bit. Best installed far away from a wall or anythign else you don't want to get splashed. It's supplied from a small to medium size roof. I have another type of rainchain elsewhere and that one performs better, but this ones still performs better than others I've had.

Beautiful addition to my entrance garden.

Lots of water still splashes around as the water flows down through the rain chain but it does capture the majority of it. Works perfectly for my purposes and I love how it looks! Do be sure to check the length you need, you may need to order more than one chain.
