Fantastic chain technology
I am a fence contractor so I use a chainsaw a lot to cut down old wood fenced and cut new treated 4x4s and 2x4s and the powersharp chains work very well for my application. Being able to sharpen a chain in a few seconds and keep going is a huge plus for someone who hits nails and other junk on a regular basis. If one was to factor chain cost and sharpening cost these chains are no more costly (could be cheaper) to use then conventional chains, unless you sharpen your own conventional chains. The chain does cut and leave a bit more splintering when cutting treated lumber. Also I have noticed it doesn't cut quite as fast as a fresh conventional chain, but the fact that people tend to keep using conventional chains once they have become very dulled to avoid having to change them will more then offset the slight speed advantage the conventional chain initially offers. They also seem to take more horsepower to cut a given diameter. In what I do my small Stihl MS 192 has no problem since I rarely cut anything bigger then a 4x4, but I have noticed when cutting trees that it taxes the saw more then a conventional chain would.

Easy to use sharpening
I've been cutting mulberry trees out of my fence lines and windbreaks. It fit my Stihl chainsaw with no problems and it is easy to sharpen with the power sharp system. It may not stay sharp as long as a good quality chain but the ability to resharpen the chain often and easily has worked well for me. I recommend you try it.

3-5 seconds to a sharp chain
I experienced a little trouble as running a steel chain against a sharpening stone is very foreign to my way of thinking. Once I overcame my inhibitions, this chainsaw chain system works extremely well. Great system! I am pleased to have found this system and recommend it everyone. Just remember 3-5 seconds means 3-5 seconds to a sharp chain!

Very well made. Excellent solution to sharpen your own chains.
I own a Sthil chainsaw, I used to have to bring the chains for sharpening, then wait until they were done. I know I can sharpen my own Oregon chains, as often as I need to. I absolutely love it!!!

good chain - okay price
I bought this chain to go with the PowerSharp kit (Oregon 541219 PowerSharp Starter Kit For 14-Inch Stihl Chain Saws). The blade holds up well and is very easy to sharpen with the sharpener.

Not as happy as I hoped for
I found that for my saw the cutting teeth were very small and I would have to sharpen it every 15 to 20 minutes I did buy 2 chains I plan to use the second one and when I wear it out go back to my original set up

Filing in the past.
This fit my Stihl chain saw as advertised. Have used to cut several small trees and have sharpened a couple of times. Love not having to file the chain.
