I wouldn't put them in the dishwasher with the grips on. Also, the numbers are kinda screwy.

I thought this was 4 cups because that's how the bowls, plates, and pasta bowls come. However, the 4 refers to the cup and lid. And that would make sense, but each cup is actually 3 pieces. Cup, grip, and lid (see photo). So, it should probably be referred to as 6 pieces or 2 cups. The 4 really throws you off and that's the first reason I'm giving these a 4 out of 5. Either call it 6 pieces or 2 cups. The second is, because of the grip. I wouldn't put the grips in the dishwasher. So, you either rinse them out by hand with the grip on, or you take the grips off to put them in the dishwasher. Depending on how you go about it, this would make it more of a pain to clean. They are very stylish and match the bowls and plates. I plan to buy a second set of them. But I only use them when I cook and plate nicer meals to match. Otherwise, I use my plain glass tumblers and plain white Corelle plates.

Everyone’s favorite mug

I bought these for hot drinks, especially for work. My teens have favorited them for cold drinks and smoothies. They seemed a bit “spendy” for mugs- but ended up being the most used cups we have. The kids hold heat or cold in but aren’t leakproof like a portable mug - the lid won’t stay on if it’s turned over.

Perfect for Overnight Oats!

I find these stoneware mugs to be perfect for preparing overnight steel cut oats in the refrigerator. They’re attractive, with a look and feel more like tableware, compared to the popular alternative of eating out of mason jars. The lids make this set more convenient and eco-minded compared to preparing oats in a regular refrigerated bowl covered in saran wrap. The mug and lid set transitions seamlessly between refrigerator to microwave, then to table and finally to dishwasher. After microwaving the oats I add fresh fruit or berries and a sprinkle of sliced almonds on top—there is plenty of room to fit it all. The silicone sleeve makes it easy to grip the mug while eating, and since the heated oat portion remains in the base, there is no problem with the mug feeling too hot to handle. When I first received the set I almost returned it, believing it to be defective, because the lids kept popping up, but then I found they would easily stay seated by placing the lid on the mug and lifting one corner to gently expel some of the trapped air (similar to “burping” the Tupperware of yesteryear). The nordic blue is a lovely medium blue. The lid functions perfectly as a light cover (but probably wouldn't stay on well if the cup were inverted). The set has a nice weight to it and feels like something that is quality-made and will last the test of time. A really nice addition to any kitchen, especially if there are any steel cut oat eaters in the family.

Too hot to handle.

When filled with hot coffee, the cup becomes too hot to comfortably hold.

Ideal for overnight oats for breakfast.

Exactly what I was looking for to prepare overnight oats with milk, fruit etc, and store in fridge. In morning, remove lid and straight to microwave. The silicone holder is great. At first it seemed lid was not a good fit, but then realized you just press down in center and it creates an airtight seal -- sort of like old Tupperware lids. Not sure if they're dishwasher safe, but easy to wash by hand.

I put some salt and powder to keep them dry. Easily opened and closed, really good grip on the side. I never put any liquid, so not sure about the leak proof but I love them. Good color too:)

el vacito esta lindo, pero no me gusta el olor que tiene el plástico con el qué está hecho el protector y la tapa, por lo cual no es agradable tener bebidas en él
