Sunny yellow color looks very high end

Really great fabric. It does not look like a cheap tarp like so many other sun shades. It is thin material that has a great color on one side and a grey color on the other side. The rain slicks right off and it provides lovely shade without being too dark. I highly recommend this product!

Similar to higher priced shades

Looks pretty durable so far but it hasn't been long enough to tell so that's why I only gave it a 4. But I thought the quality was similar to Coolaroo.

Functional, durable shade in a fun color

We hung this shade over our back patio where it helped block direct sunlight and cool down the area slightly. I love the bright yellow color. Note that this is designed to allow water to run through it, which was good for our needs because it also allows wind to pass through it.l, reducing tension on the sides. We ordered a separate hardware kit on Amazon to hang it. It has held up well for several months of bright Colorado sun and temperature swings. We just took it down for the winter so that snow doesn’t accumulate on it. But we’ll look forward to using it again next year.

wonderful way to increase the space...

We bought this item because we were constantly adjusting our umbrella which was placed next to a small patio with an overhang. The coolaroo attached to the side of the overhang perfectly and we then attached the third point to a fence post. We bought another coolaroo and did the same thing on the other side. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the color We bought the yellow...the other selections were not acceptable. It is very pretty but slightly too bright ( a warmer version of yellow would have been nicer but this is more of a lemon yellow, cooler and somewhat harsher) and I repeated the yellow by buying some items for the patio in the same version of the color but I would have preferred a warm sand color or a terra cotta. We love the fact that it does not collect water and it is very pleasant to sit under it. It gives us more space because we are not dealing with a pole in the middle of the area. I hope they will make it in more neutral colors eventually because this is a really great idea much less expensive and prettier than an off-set umbrella.

It has performed well and is good value for the money

I bought this 4 years ago and have used it each year over my pool. It has performed well and is good value for the money. I used 4 x 4 posts mounted in concrete as a base that extend 5 feet above my deck. I then purchased 2" heavy galvanized pipe with threaded ends 10' high and mounted the female end of the threaded base to my deck. With a large D ring mounted to the 4 x 4 and then screwed into the base I have a 10' high platform to mount the sail. I have two eye bolts mounted 8" apart near the top where my pulley is attached and then an anchor line as support. I use paracord to raise and lower the sails. I have a 9'6" sail and a 16' sail both triangles that shade the pool during July and August. When fall comes I just put them in a plastic bin and wait for next year. No mildew issues, rips or tears.

Great product

I purchased the Coolaroo Party Sail (9ft) --- bought one in blue and one in orange and both colors are very nice.It was very easy to hang (2 sides attached to large trees and the other to a post) and it provides a certain amount of shade for me in an area that is brutal during the morning hours. The shade that this size Sail provides is minimal, but for me provides just enough shade for my patio for when I sit on my outdoor bench. The sail provides a little more shade than an umbrella does, but with the sail, I don't have to worry about windy days when my umbrella gets turned over or I have to chase it across the yard. Also, when it rains, water does not collect as the fabric allows for the water to go through. All around, it's a very nice alternative to umbrellas that I have to keep replacing after they get damaged by the wind. I plan to get a larger one for another area of my yard. I'm very happy with the product and the price was good too!

Like the color, waiting to see how it holds up as a permanent installation

We bought this shade sail mainly because it’s colorful. In fact, my wife was a little taken aback by just how bright the color is, even though it’s exactly as shown in the image! One thing to be aware of is that this is really intended for temporary installations at campsites, etc. It comes provided with cords for installation, but you need to buy hardware for something more permanent. Will see how it holds up over time, but it was reasonably priced.

great size

This was the best size for the space over my deck. AND the feature is that it doesn't hold the rain. Other sail cover that I have keeps a pool of water in it like a bowl after a rain. THIS sail lets the water run through - we only need it for shade and it does that. The grommets are strong and it holds it shape really well.

Coolaro Triangle

Very sturdy material and it looks great too! If you don't have trees I would suggest buying the pole kits as well! It provides a shady place to sit under but keep in mind the material is woven so light can come through. This is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 star. If you are looking for shade and to diffuse the light this is perfect! While I can't use this because I need total shade I will set it up for others. I would buy this brand again!

Reasonable colour, size as on the package, installation ropes missing

I bought this for a second-floor condo balcony that faces west. I will update with further details but wanted to point out that although the original Coolaroo packaging said "easy set-up, comes with installation ropes." It listed 1 sunsail (it did) and 3 installation ropes (it did not). NO ROPES WERE INCLUDED

Great sail, just choose the right colour

Nice sail! I got the blue which seriously just looks like cut of tarp (which a few people commented on). Wanted green but price +++. Worked great, kept the area cool, just.... looked like a tarp so returned and went for another colour and style
