Excellent paints

Mostly needs 2 coats, but beautiful colors easy to use, easy to seal when dry! Can be used on multiple surfaces. Love these paints!

I LOVE CRAFT PAINTS!

My favorite medium! I taught myself to paint using craft paints, painting Christmas ornaments, and then rocks. I have found craft paints to be the BEST paint for creating miniature portraits, animals, and painting with my fingers. I love the way these paints mix to create the perfect colors. The paints wash clean off my hands, but will stain fabric. Have fun! That’s what it is all about.

I'm not an artist or anything but this set has a good variety of colors. I had a great time playing in it. Make sure to cover clothes and surfaces to avoid getting paint on them. I had a black shirt and I got white paint on it years ago, still haven't been able to get that paint off.

really beginner friendly just sheer

honestly, these are really good for $20 dollars. they work well and are suuuuper easy to blend with. as an artist, i would just say they do have some downfalls. they can be pretty sheer and are kinda more liquid than i prefer but because of their liquid state, they are really easy to blend with. be wary of where you paint with them, because the paint does chip and doesnt do well with water. however, they're amazing for fabrics you dont wash and for canvases that are flat (as in they dont have the wooden supports). a good tip ive heard is to add some cornstarch to the paint (not much though, i add a pinch to thicken up the paint and make it less sheer). happy painting ????

Excellent quality

I purchased these to touch up an outdoor ceramic turtle and to paint some rocks and other objects. The colors mixed easily and the coverage was excellent. I was able to mix an exact match for the turtle. For the more creative stuff they blended really nicely and the color stayed consistent as it dried. Was my first time painting in many many years, and I am very happy with my purchase. On a side note; I didn't actually realize these were matte when I bought them. Didn't matter for my application, but If you're looking for something with some shine, you'll want to look elsewhere.

Great paints for plastic model kits.

These are really good paints but a few of them had started to thicken up, and leave some thick blobs in the top near the lid. That's OK though because we don't use it direct from the bottle, since you are likely thinning it down anyway. This is an excellent value considering the other over-priced model paints. I used to get a particular brand, but everyone seems to be charging a fortune for them now, so I decided to try Apple Barrel, and it worked out great. Good coverage, fast drying, and they mix really well. Plus you get about 10-times as much as you get in those traditional little bottles of enamel. Apple Barrel has earned a repeat customer here.

EXCELLENT QUALITY

I bought these for my daughter with a "20" pack of brushes and she can't say enough good things about the paint... I wish more colors could be bought in the packs (I got her the 18 pack)... I'd love to say it's kinda of expensive but for what you get... the colors are so strong that you usually don't need a second coat (even using only a little bit of paint... paint surface dependent obviously)... easy clean up.. she cleans the paint table quite easily with a bit of water.... this is for the acrylic 18 pack...WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND, WORTH the money for what you get...
