Good Overpriced Tools

The $58 Klein magnetic nut driver set (647M) is worth $45, not $58. It took Amazon 3 shipments to send the correct tools to my home. The first two shipments (647) were non-magnetic nut drivers. That required me to return 2 shipments, asked for a refund after the second shipment, and re-order one more time at an additional $7 cost. What a hassle! Not very happy with this transaction.

Great set with one issue

Great set except for the 3/8” size nut driver. As someone else wrote, the 3/8” opening is plugged with excess glue and magnet such that it cannot be placed over a 3/8” nut. There is no room. I may try to remove the glue and magnet to open the space so that it will be useful. Otherwise I’m very happy with the other drivers, as they have performed well so far.

A little pricey, but great tools!

I bought these to fix my dishwasher and they did the trick. They were a little more than I wanted to spend, but I really wanted the magnetic tip, because if I dropped a screw, I would have had to pull the dishwasher out out and tear apart the motor. They have also come in handy for repairing my lawnmower this week. They feel nice and solid in your hand. So far so good.

Quality Control issues?

Right now I have only given them 3 stars but I might add more once my replacement arrives. Ordered this set and was looking them over only to find that the shaft on the 1/4in driver was bent or bowed pretty badly. It appears to be a manufacturing defect. All of the others in the package seem to be fine and of expected good quality from Klein. There was no shipping damage to the package or any physical damage to any of the drivers so this leads me to believe it is a QC slip in the factory. Replacements should arrive in a couple of days and I will update my review at that time. Update: 9/3/22 Received replacement item and so far, they are all in good condition. I haven't noticed any defects like I found with the first set. My review doesn't reflect the longevity or durability because I simply have not used these extensively enough to make that determination. That being said, I'm going to leave my review at three stars simply because I feel like the material could be a little more robust. I have a pair of Husky nut drivers from Home Depot that I feel are much heavier duty than these however, I like the 6 in shaft and larger handles on these drivers for those more difficult to reach places. They seem to be about middle of the road quality wise. Not bad quality but also not the very best. We will see how well they hold up over time.

3/16 driver had to much glue in the tip so the nut would not go into the driver. Otherwise tools are as described. Very happy

Ain't what they used to be..

Magnetic ends came out of all of them. Supposed to be covered under warranty by the distributer but Amazon is making this very difficult. I don't want to be without them while I wait for the new ones as I use them for work and they are also now more expensive..
