Great tools for the price.

I used to only buy Craftsman tools, when they were made in the USA. But since making their tools in China, the quality went way down. The Tekton's feel like similar quality to the older USA made Craftsman tools.

Great set

I used to carry two separate toolboxes for my 3/8 drive sockets but now I am able to carry one because both metric and SAE are included in these. They definitely feel like a good quality – especially for the low price.

Just needs a handle

Excellent sockets - but like others have said, the omission of a handle is puzzling. It's not exactly a lightweight set. I considered a lot of options to modify the case and finally decided to go the simple route and use this - Easy-Carry Wrap-It Storage Straps - 28” (2-Pack). Quite happy with it so far.

Impressive set for the money

Tekton is an entry level brand that doesn't offer the services of a tool truck or some of the detail that a professional mechanic may need. Their tool lineup is not fairly compared to SnapOn, MAC or Matco that have built a relationship with their customers, are often innovators in the industry and hopefully most of their tools are made in the USA. That being said, Tekton has done a really good job of putting out some entry level professional tools and their sockets and ratchets are a highlight of their lineup for their quality and value. Tekton is a US company but most of their tools are made in Taiwan (20% are US made), so no guilt about buying from their neighbor. There are no skips in this set. The chrome is well done for this price point. The ratchet is very good quality. Even the case is useful without a lot of wasted space. I looked at several other entry level brands and they aren't too bad either, but if you are just looking for a basic socket set, the 55 piece 1/4" and 47 piece 3/8" sets are winners (same size case as well). You could spend quite a bit less and get a set that will get you thru some occasional tasks or spend a fortune on a set that may be far above your needs. Tekton offers a Goldilocks set that is just right.

Could be better

TEKTON has a good tool but I feel they could be as good as snap-on. I have used this product and there impact sockets and they are of good quality I just feel they could be better at the design and quality. The money you spend is close to what you would spend with snap-on. That’s why I say there quality could be better.

Quality tools! Used them right away absolutely no issues. Great case that holds everything, nothing floating around when you close the case, will definitely last.

I liked it because it is small and compact, the only dislike I have about this is that the case does not have a handle for you to carry it.The tools themselves are of a very high quality
