Very well made, and long enough!

These mitts are very thick and well padded, and they have that silver fabric inside for extra protection. The stitching is secure and after a lot of use they have not frayed or gotten thin. I like that they’re long enough to cover my lower forearms because I have gotten burned on my wrists in the past while using shorter mitts. You need long mitts like these if, like me, you bake stuff using two oven racks and fail to learn the lesson that 90% of the time you will burn yourself if you try to get the cookie tray out of the lower rack without sliding the rack out. To be honest, I chose these mitts mostly because they are purple and it’s hard to find purple kitchen stuff. I really didn’t expect much other than purpleness. It was a good decision though because they’ve turned out to be exactly what I needed and I was pleasantly surprised by their great quality. I highly recommend these, especially for people like me, for whom enthusiasm for cookies sometimes outstrips good judgment. Five stars.

11" NOT 13"

These are clearly only 11 inches long. Not 13" as advertised. Unless oven mitts are supposed to be measured like TVs and monitors (diagonally)

Love the color and style!

I bought these for myself. The color is a burnt orange color which is perfect. The style of being able to use each mit on either hand is just what I was looking for. My only complaint which really isn't a complaint... is the size of the mit. My hands are average size and the mitts are slightly big. Although my husband loves them because they fit him perfectly. I'm hoping maybe after washing them that they will shrink some.

Good value!

No complaints.. the set of 4 for the price is a great deal. Not sure how long they will last but for now they definitely do the job; even with a scorching hot Dutch oven straight out of a 450 degree oven I don't feel anything.

The color

I was disappointed with the color of the oven mitts. They weren't even close to the color that the picture displayed when I placed my order. They do exactly what they're supposed to do.

DII Cotton Terry Oven Mitts, 7 x 13" Set of 2, Heat Resistant and Machine Washable Kitchen Gloves for Cooking and Baking-Gray These Cotton Terry Oven Mitts are the best oven mitts I've ever had! I love them. The mitts are nice and roomy for a larger hand but not too large for my small hand to use them with ease. They are very thick and extremely good at stopping all heat from coming through. The terry is of excellent quality, a nice tight loop. I bought the grey and it is a very nice rich cool grey. I have washed mine in the washing machine and put them in the dryer and they came out fine. Excellent buy!

Smaller then description

The color is nice, they block the heat well but they're very small. I washed before first use and they are not 13 inches long, more like 10 inches and the thumb is too short for bigger hands, like my husband. Overall they're ok.

Poor quality

It was faulty on arrival, with the side seam not being sewn in or connected! Awful .... return started but disappointed I need to pay for the postage to return this faulty item

Great Quality at a Great Price

Bought this pair of oven mitts for my Mom who wanted a basic oven mitt without rubberized grip (tends to melt). Found these at a really good price for the pair (Nautical Blue colour was the lowest cost for this brand/type). When we received these mitts, my Mom was thrilled as they are a good weight and thickness (not too thick and not too thin) and well lined on the inside. Because my Mom liked them so much she was reluctant to use them and wanted to keep them for good, so I just bought her a second pair!
