Seems to do the job
So everything has gone well so far, from delivery to expansion. I've already given it more than enough time (almost 2 days) to fluff up, and it's done a wonderful job of it. I've even gone so far as to measure the thickness with the tape measure and it is exactly 4 inches thick. I'm under the impression after reading a lot of the reviews that this is where a lot of people failed to realize that it takes time to rise properly and this is crucial to proper preparation. Giving it a few hours and then throwing it on your bed will result in the topper going flat and/or tearing. I haven't slept on it yet. But after rolling around on it for a little bit, it seems like it's going to be comfy. I'll update with other details if necessary.

Perfect dog bed
Obviously this is supposed to be used on a human bed but since the cost of a Jumbo Plus dog bed can range from $120 on up, I decided to use this instead. I have an older Great Dane that decided his old bed was lame, the floor is too hard and he much preferred my bed. I am not sharing my bed with a dog this size and this topper is just as thick - 4 inches - as a nicer dog bed. It did take about 24 hrs. to expand and by the looks of it when I removed it from the bag, I swore it wouldn't but it's perfectly plump. I just cut it down a bit so it fit better in the bedroom and just covered it with an oversized throw. Also much easier to wash instead of constantly needing to remove the cover on a dog bed. So far he loves it and the piece I cut off is now my butt pad on my computer chair. Really quite comfortable.

Excellent - Thick foam!
I bought this foam topper in order to cut it up and use to replace old orthopedic foam in my dog's beds! I was able to fill 2 large (30"x40") dog beds for less than the price of one new bed! I reused the zipper covers I had, turned the foam over and with a straight edge, cut the foam to size. Excellent solution! I want to add that I followed the instructions on unrolling... I unpacked the topper and allowed it to gently 'inflate' on its own. I helped it along very gently (not pulling or forcing it to unroll/expand) and by the end of the day it was full size. No tears, rips or irregularities and the smell dissipated by day's end).

This has been a game changer for me! In the best way.
The older I get the grumpier and humpier my back gets, sadly. Before this egg crate pad I was waking up in more pain than when I laid down. My only problem is that now I don't want to get out of bed!!

Filled out beautifully. Nice support, not too spongey. An easy choice
I saw a lot of mixed reviews for this topper not filling out or ripping, but ended up trying for myself anyway. I was not disappointed, this topper is extremely comfortable. To prevent tearing, be careful when opening the topper as it is folded on the eggshell side, let it breathe on a flat surface and fill out before any use. I believe many of the reviewers do so making it torn and disfigured. After a few hours it was fully formed at 4" peak height. I cannot say if the length and width are accurate, as I cut my down to fit my application. If you plan on cutting yours to size, flip over on the flat side, and use a very sharp fillet knife or something similar. First night trial I think I had my best sleep yet. It retains it's form and is not suffocating like most "memory foams" I've tried in the past. Reduced pressure points on the shoulders and hips for when I lay on my side. I also felt a improvement with back support as well.

Huge difference on an old mattress
This made a dramatic improvement in mattress comfort and has held up for several months. Don't be alarmed it comes VERY compressed and folded. It does obtain its full size within a day. Best to open it in the morning and let it expand all day before bedtime.
