Great seat, but the screws did not fit properly

I like the toilet seat, but the screws did not fit with the make of our toilet. Fortunately, the prior toilet seat screws that go below fit, so I used those instead of the ones that came with this seat.

Great toilet seats

The 2 replaced the same 2 toilet seats Thai have had for 13 yrs. They are made of wood, so they are very sturdy, the finish is perfect. The seats are easy to install, easy to remove when cleaning. I wouldn't buy another brand. 5 stars.

Replacement for same item that only lasted three years

I bought this one to replace a Church seat I installed only three years ago. The plastic seat on the previous one just sheared off one when when I lifted it. No I am not the Incredible Hulk - it just snapped. Installing the replacement was simple because the mounting brackets have not changed so I didn’t need to do more than just open the bracket with a slight twist, place it on the bracket and twist to lock. The seat works quietly and looks fine. Hopefully this one lasts longer than three years.

Be careful cleaning!

My builder grade home had these toilet seats for only a year. They get so discolored from any type of cleaning products so please be careful. I’ve bought the same exact seat for easy replacement it and I will be much more careful this time. Use only Lysol wipes and hot water plus dish soap. Anything else will discolor and turn your toilet seat a nasty yellow.

Somewhat disappointed

The product was the exact same as my existing one but the tooling provided did not fit. Very disappointing that the care and time was given during the picking of product to ensure it was the correct tooling. The toilet seat looks exactly like the old one. Will reorder another replace but hope to receive the correct size tooling to fit.

Don't Like New Mounting Method

The seat, lid and hinge are great. The new removable mounting "bolt" leaves something to be desired. Might work great on newer toilets, but on 15-20 year old toilets, the two bolt holes have a lot of space that make proper alignment for the cap to slip over a problem. The old drop a bolt into the hinge method worked much better. Would have rated this a 5 except for the mounting hardware.
