Bargain Price

Was looking at different fixtures and this one was in Amazon Warehouse in “very good condition” for $67. Only issue was little bit of paint on wires and got it off with steel wool. The chain is not dark brass like fixture which others have said, but bought a chain at Lowe’s for 6 bucks. Was able to hang fixture first and then wire it. Just have to have canopy and canopy locking nut on chain before you hang it Then thread wires through chain and wire to leads in outlet box..The canopy locking nut was sloppy on finial so put some plumbers tape on threads.

Oily Tiffany lamp.

I have not hooked this light up yet and I will post an update but I received this light in fine condition. Upon opening it and taking it out of the cellophane bag I noticed a thin film of oil all over the outer shell. I had to wash my hands several times while handling this light fixture. I'm trying to decide whether to return this item or try to clean it up. I can't believe a Tiffany hanging light fixture would have so much oil (if any at all) all over its exterior. I am puzzled as to why this has happened and will contact Amazon and/or the retailer. It is so much oil it is noticeable to the naked eye and anywhere you touch it on the outer shell you will get very oily hands. Very irritating and disappointing. My wife and I like the color of the light because it fits our color scheme in the kitchen as we are big Maryland Blue crab eaters who now live 600 miles south of Maryland and love steamed crabs. It looks like somebody spread about an ounce of penetrating oil evenly over the outer shell unlike my blue crabs which have no oil on their shells. This is not a good first impression. It would be better if they sent out a 32 ounce bottle of dishwashing liquid and a $20 dollar bill for my time and aggravation for time wasted in cleaning the light and washing my hands repeatedly. I think this light fixture may be going back because I don't have the time to deal with someone else's bad day on the production line who could care less about quality. I'll probably get a bill in a couple weeks charging me for an ounce of oil and the brush they used to spread it on. I have purchased more than a hundred items on Amazon during the last year or two and I never have commented on anything, so I do not complain. This is my first review but believe me the next time I'm going to order 3 in 1 penetrating oil and maybe I'll get a clean lamp.

Awesome Tiffany hanging lamp

This color scheme matches perfectly to our color scheme, can take out links to shorten the chain. It’s easy to install with a very basic understanding of how ceiling fixtures work. It’s a little plastic feeling to the touch not sure exactly what it’s made out of but it looks nice and that’s all that matters to us ... other than feeling cheap it does feel well made and certainly looks beautiful. We got this for our foyer entrance and it really spruced up the old dingy tiny light fixture that was there. Holds two A27 bulbs (standard socket bulbs) I have two led bulbs placed in the fixture and couldn’t be happier great light production and classy looking weather it’s turned on or off ...

Pretty lamp, but disappointed...

I just received this lamp and like another reviewer the chain did not match the base of the unit. It also does not appear to be glass - when "pinged" it surely sounds like plastic and, as yet another reviewer stated there appear to be swirls in the "glass pieces" I an live with these two issues, however what I am even more disappointed about is that the product states 100w bulbs may be used. Not so, right on the fixture it says maximum 60 watt bulb (this also leads me to believe that the product is plastic, as it will melt with higher wattage bulbs) I have this over a dining room table and was looking for something that would provide more light - don't think I achieved this in this fixture. It is a pretty lamp and fits in with my decor, as blue/teal lamps are not to be found, however, it is not as represented.

When we bought it, my wife wanted the hood ...

When we bought it, my wife wanted the hood opening facing down, to avoid dust collection inside. So we did, totally forgetting the bulbs would also be facing down and visible. Probably it would look prettier with the hood facing up, but it still meets our expectation and choice.
