Fits perfectly
The jacket fits very well. It’s very well-made. I like the idea that it has an inside lining that you can zip out and still wear for spring and autumn. It’s nice because you can wear a nice thick sweater under it and it fits very snug. I usually wear a 44long, I ordered a 42 long and it fit perfectly. The sleeve length is perfect. I get a lot of comments on it it’s very well-made. I would definitely suggest of getting a size smaller than what you normally wear because it is a little bigger than expected. I’m glad I ordered a 42 long. I’m 6 foot one and I weigh 187 pounds and it fit perfectly as a slim fit. Hopefully this all helps all you buyers out there.

Great coat for any time
Great coat for any weather conditions. Zip out liner is easy to remove and put back in. Coat size is a bit large vs expectations but not overwhelming and allows for layers if needed. Cozy comfy fashionable very functional

Nice raincoat
I will be traveling soon to a cold and rainy city. I have not tested it for permeability, but it is a good design, it fits well, and it is comfortable.

Good coat cut a little big for its size.
Just cut larger than it’s size.

A superb coat in any weather or temperatures
First quality. London Fog have always made superb coats and jackets this in no exception. Wind and water do not cut through it with the zip out liner. With the liner and light sweater no issue down to mid 20’s. Take out the liner and it is just a great year round rain jacket. Buy it. If you get a color other than black it is a cool look with nice jeans or slacks. Super!

5’9” 135lbs 38S almost perfect
I am a 5’9” 135lbs male and I purchased 38S. the fit is very close I just have a smaller chest + waist so maybe should’ve gone 36 or 36S. Sleeve length is perfect. all in all very secret agent-y and fit fills out with an added mid layer. would fit even looser if removed the liner

Good coat, deceptive photos
I like my coats big so I can easily fit a sports coat - or as in the photo, a leather jacket - under it and for that reason I ordered a 44R when I take a 40R sports coat. I also like turning the sleeves up to show a bit of the lining but that's just a dandyish quirk of mine compared to my practical reason for keeping things roomy. When I tried it on I saw I would have been okay with a 42 but the coat is so nice, so well made, I decided to keep it and I've been wearing it every day since I got it. It's a London Fog and this English brand has been around for a long time, so I had high expectations and I'm not disappointed except for one thing, coming later. As declared in the listing details, there's a full lining. It goes down to the hem, quilted from the shoulders to the waist and from there to the hem is a single layer of what might be some kind of thermal cloth. Even the sleeves are lined with a very thin, light quilting that will keep your arms warm when you wear the coat alone but at the same time won't make it hard to get the coat on/off when you're wearing it with a jacket underneath, as I'm doing. The sleeve linings are also buttoned to the inside of the coat sleeve at the cuff so when you take the coat off you won't pull the lining out with your arm. The side pockets are really deep and you can trust that nothing will fall out of them no matter what. The material doesn't have the micro-suede finish I was expecting, has no nap at all, but is soft, with a totally matte finish like vellum (I mean real deerskin vellum). The centre vent at the back is deep, and as long as you cut the threads that hold it shut for shipment as you're supposed to do, it will let you sit down comfortably without making you feel like you've been wrapped like a cigar. So I'm coming to the only disappointment I have with this coat. The photos in the listing for the British Khaki version look more like what I'm going to call 'brown amber' and when I opened the package I thought maybe they'd sent me the olive green one ("Covert") by mistake because it's got no red/orange tones at all. Depending on the light it's dead-on mushroom or squirrel brown, or at best cocoa brown. They must have photographed it with a little halogen light to warm up the colour and I was pissed that the actual article looked dull compared to what the photos had led me to expect. But it is a more neutral colour than in the photos, can co-ordinate with more stuff than the olive green, and isn't at all mafiesco (?) like the black. I did okay. Great year-round coat, reasonable price, and something even George Clooney would be happy to wear.

Wonderful jacket
My suit is approx 44L. I got a 46L jacket and it fits very well over my suit jacket. The jacket is very comfortable and stylish. Haven't worn it in cold months but has been perfect for the early fall mornings. Excellent jacket and excellent price.

Stylish Olive Overcoat
Like that it will fit over suit jacket, very roomy, great fabric for a raincoat. The olive colour is pleasing even though I usually choose navy in the darker coats. Zipper for liner works well, the buttons take getting used to as they fit tight. Style is simple but cut elegantly. The quality is higher than I expected.

Almost suede-y feel to it
A very nice overcoat--definitely not a raincoat. Fits nicely. With the liner it is definitely warm enough for fall and spring, even a mild winter day. Without the liner, great for fall and spring, or a cool summer day. A classic cut.
