Works Great on Pentair Pool Light

We bought this after we had an expensive colored light fail. It's a cheap easy fix and we love having the water stay blue toned at night. We have now had it since February 0f 2022 and we have had zero issues with it staying on.

The cover snapped right on my Hayward pool light. I love the blue color and my light isn’t so bright now. My pool light shines towards my house so this will be great. I hope the bugs won’t be as bad in the water at night when the light is on. Before and after pic attached.

Not light blue or aqua

The image makes this item look like a lighter blue or aqua, but it is a very deep, dark blue color.

Wow

This light cover is a game changer. If you don’t want to upgrade to LED lights then make the simple fix and do this. Made our pool nice a dark blue at night!

Works!

I used this to cover my pool light. It did not disappoint. The water looks more inviting with the blue color cast over the pool with the cover in place. The only draw back is that it does not fit tightly so it comes off easily if bumped and is thin and easily cracked hence the 4 stars.

Works for my Jandy Incandescent Pool Light Model: WPHV500WS100

I had a Jandy Incandescent Pool Light Model: WPHV500WS100 installed recently. My old light was a Jandy LED light. I will not go into my analysis, but I determined it is much, much, much, less expensive to have an incandescent fixture compared to a special built LED pool light. But, I liked the blue setting on my old LED light, and my pool guy told me that most owners play around with fancy color shows with their LEDs, and then settle in on good old "cobalt blue" as their standard setting. With an incandescent fixture, you can get the same result by installing a blue plastic lens cover like this one directly over your incandescent light. It took me a couple of minutes to install. It was not obvious how to put it on, and I had to keep coming up for air and diving back underwater to play around with it. But, I finally got it properly seated. I have not tested it yet. I have to wait for the sun to go down to see how this baby works. Then I have to wait a few months to see how it holds up to normal pool chemistry. But, for now I am happy.

Much darker than advertised.

I ordered these because the tint looked lighter in the photos but these are the darker blue lense covers. Really too dark for my pool. I have a light blue quarts plaster and three make it look so dark it’s hard to see the light at night. I bought a lighter shade of lenses at my local pool store. If you like dark dark lenses these are for you!

Color is So much better!

It fits our Jandy 500w Pool light perfectly. There are three evenly spaced tabs that fit I to the ring of the pool light. They are very short and when my husband was trying to I stall it the plastic cover cracked. Lesson learned ; do t force it one just line up the three tabs. It stays on pretty well now that it is lined up. I will say from a design perspective the tabs should be longer and there are three cut-outs that white light gets through, but not much. Definitely improved the color of our pool! The photo doesn’t do it justice, but you can see how hello the spa light is In comparison. I am shopping for one for the spa now, different dimensions.
