Best thermos / mug I've tried

Long story short, this is still the best thermos I've tried hands down. Best temperature holding by far, ease of cleaning, leak proofness & durability. Can you break the cap? Of course. But with even a modest amount of care it will last years. I know as I have another one that's several years old now but with a lined interior. I like both but prefer this glossy stainless interior that is easy to clean but you will need a bottle brush and small brush to fit in the small spaces of the cap such as a brush to clean straws. Definitely hand wash. The cons? It's narrow, a little slippery, and rattles in most car cup holders. The solution is a can cozy because it's the exact same diameter as a 12 oz can. Also the bottom can dent when dropped as the outer walls are slightly thinner than typical of these. That said, a soft faced hammer and some gentle persuasion can make it functionally good as new.

Believe the hype

This is simply the best thermos I have owned. It is well constructed, VERY light, easy to clean, and keeps my coffee piping hot for hours. It has never leaked a single drop. The cap is such a simple and intuitive design and pops apart easily for cleaning. Get one (or more!).

I tested temp retention, and...

Here's what and how: Ambient temp in the room was 70 degrees F throughout. I filled the container with 120 deg. Fahrenheit water at 4:45 pm. Then tested the temps at the following times: 5:56 117.3 deg. F. 6:57 115.7 deg. F. 8:57 112.3 deg. F. The bottle was filled to the top and unopened between testings. In over 4 hours, heat loss was less than 8 degrees F. Not too bad, but remember that I wasn't opening it or subtracting any liquid during that time. I made coffee with cream for myself this morning at 6:30 and it was still drinkably warm (not hot) at 1:30 this afternoon. The mechanism in the top works well, no spillage and easy to drink from. Lock mechanism is a plus, I suppose. MUST be hand washed! Exterior may be slippery when wet, I think. If I could run it through the dish washer, I'd have given it 5 stars.

Insulation is everything!

Keeps hot 12hrs plus, if unopened and can last all day hot to very warm, even if sipping throughout the day. Very satisfied with the quality. The spout seems to need some tlc (the way it snaps in makes me feel like it can break if you are not gentle) but so far mine is intact.

Best thermos hands down.

I honestly and wholeheartedly love this thing more than I realized I could love a simple product... I am an avid tea and coffee drinker, but I like to sip at it throughout the day rather than drink a full cup at once and this is the only thing I’ve used that keeps anything from going lukewarm or cold after sitting for 2, 3, 6, even 8 hours. This is no exaggeration. I can make tea in the morning and at night time and it’s still pretty hot. I mean not burning your tongue hot, but still hot to the point where you couldn’t drink the entire thermos without burning your mouth. I actually agree with some of the complaints that this does maybe too effective of a job keeping your beverage warm…. when you initially put your coffee in be ready to burn your lips and mouth for the first three hours! on top of being literally incredible at heat retention, this genius little bottle is also leakproof and locks. You can literally throw it in your bag upside down, then do cartwheels down a cliff side and have no worries whatsoever about leakage…I’m serious! I’m a professional photographer, and I throw my coffee inside my bag with my expensive camera gear everyday because I use my side pockets for gear, and I’ve dropped my bag multiple times down hills, so you can trust me. Zoshiruji i just wanna say I love and appreciate u. This thermos is fantastic

HOLDS MANY HOURS FOR HOT OR COLD DRINKS

This is my second purchase for this product. It's a like little larger than my original. For got beverages, keeps it all got well past 8 hours. For cold, I made iced coffee one morning (6am), took it to work, forgot it (3:30pm) n the next day @ 1130a there was still ice in the bottle! Another plus, if one has one of those car doors that only fits a water bottle, this will fit! Highly recommended!

I have 3 of these now ???? & I’ll stick with this brand it keeps my coffee hot for hours on end I have friends that have bought these as well and wouldn’t use anything else ???? brilliant if you work 12 hour days ???? 10 out of 10 from me & friends

Best for keeping temperature.

This is great for keeping your coffee or any other hot beverages hot for hours. My morning coffee will stay warm till I get home at 6 pm for cleaning. The locking feature is great so it does not open by accident. The only negative to this is the small drinking spout, otherwise the best coffee mug I've ever owned. Ordered as second one as my girlfriend took this one for her use.

Conserva excelentemente bem, não vaza

Usei poucos dias ainda mas por ora estou extremamente satisfeita. Ja tive garrafas de outras marcas mas todas decepcionaram. O investimento na zojirushi é muito maior porém não há como negar que a qualidade seja superior. Deixei um dia todo agua gelada dentro e mesmo aberta permaneceu na temperatura fria. A abertura é ampla (foto), o que achei muito util pois passa gelo sem problemas para colocar dentro.
