Basic Training Underwear, you get what you expect
We purchase this and two other similar packs in size 3T. Our son is 2.5 years old, approximately 38" tall and 28lbs - he's fairly lean, when we started potty training and switched him to underpants, we dropped back down to his old 18mos shorts so that he wasn't sagging. We bought the 3T size because we didn't want the underpants to be snug and tight. Being looser around the waist makes it easier for him to manipulate when he's using the potty. It also feels less like a diaper which was helpful to the method of potty training we are doing (the Oh Crap! Method by Jamie Glowacki) The 3T is indeed roomy on him even after being washed once, but he is able to wear them under his clothes and on their own with them falling down. It's also nice that he will be able to grow into them for a while. The patterns are very cute and having a nice variety to pick from helps us get him excited to dress up like a big boy! We also bought a 3 pack of Mickey Mouse and 3 pack of "Thomas Choo Choo". I'm sorry I can't post a photo to help illustrate the fit but you can't be too careful these days.

MY FAVORITE!!
These are my absolute favorite underwear to get for my son!!! I bought similar ones for when he was potty training off of Amazon also; but he’s older now and these are perfect!! Extremely soft, offer some stretch without compromising comfort, and absorbent if needed. These are the only underwear I’ve bought my son since he was 2, and will be turning 5 in a few months. I love them!

Received different design... bummer
Our son was super excited to get his new big boy underpants. While the underwear itself is good, we were slightly disappointed that we didn’t receive the designs we ordered... after reading some of the reviews, it appears this happens frequently. We loved the set that had 2 Batman (his favorite), Flash Gordon, 2 Super man and then a couple multi design ones so we opted to order the 7-pack instead of the 10-pack. The pack we received were the designs of the 10-pack but with only 7: unfortunately had 1 batman, 1 Superman and the rest were multi character ones. Not a HUGE deal but felt a little misled. Nonetheless, despite not being the ones we ordered, our son was excited for his new underwear. These don’t totally keep in accidents but they aren’t “as bad” of accidents. Ordered the 4T and they fit as expected.

Great buy for this mom
My son loved the designs. There is a pad in the main area to help collect urine. Its not meant to be a diaper, so please don't expect it not to be wet, or not puddle. It's just enough to let them know hey this doesn't feel right, so they want to use the restroom. I bought 2 packs, and plan for a 3rd.
