Less baggy but front pockets are too small
I was hoping these would be something like a much less baggy version of the 24/7 original pants and they almost are. The biggest letdown with these is that the front pockets are too small and shallow for safe (legal) pocket carry of a micro 9 like a P365. An LCP or similar is the best they can manage safely. The front pocket material is also less robust and smooth compared to the 24/7 originals and drags on the draw. On the plus side, the legs are much less baggy than the 24/7 and thus look much better, and the back pockets are jeans style and don’t have flaps which I don’t need. The thigh and crotch area is a little snug but you can always go a size up and they still wouldn’t be nearly as baggy as the 24/7. I wear tactical pants mostly around the house, in the yard and outdoors and for errands etc, not for work. I carry a Olight Warrior mini flashlight to spot coyotes at night when I’m outside with my dog and the 24/7 original’s extra little pockets are the perfect size and location for a light and folding knife. Unfortunately these don’t have them. They do have the slip in pockets behind the cargo pockets which are perfect for phones and a small flashlight clips into the unused side good enough for me, but not as handy as the dedicated pockets do. The cargo pockets on these are a lot smaller than the 24/7 but still good enough for my needs as I don’t regularly carry much in them. If these pants had the deep front pockets and the knife/light pockets of the 24/7 originals, they’d be great. Better yet, the holy grail would be a much less baggy version of the more rugged 24/7 originals, minus the back pocket flaps and knee pockets or reinforcements, and with the oversized knife/flashlight pockets of the Ascent model, for those of us who won’t be packing the big cargo pockets with tons of stuff requiring all that extra room in the legs. I’m still searching for that perfect design.

Nice Pants. Turns water. Cool in the summer.
Nice Pants. Turns water. Cool in the summer. Does not have two ply knees, but the material is durable. Excellent stitching.

Buy them
Best tactical pants I’ve owned, and I’ve owned a lot. Things I do for my job require me to wear pants quite often and the ones supplied are 5.11. Don’t get me wrong they are a great company and quality product but they are always so baggy and the crotch hands so low which it a nightmare for drop leg holsters, these pants are so much more fitting without giving up any motion

Best value for your money.
These pants are great. Tru-spec really puts in time to work out the details in their clothing. The material is durable but still light. The cargo pockets are okay, a bit small but their design is well thought out. Back pockets are my favorite, no velcro or button flap which I like for easy access. The waistband has hidden velcro so you can conceal carry with ease. My only negative reaction is the lack of a gusseted crotch. Even wearing the pants higher the crotch material snags and sometimes I have to scrunch up my pants when I sit. Tru-spec is the brand of almost. They almost had a perfect tactical pants. But...no one else has released it either.

Great design/cut/fit
I appreciate the cut and fit of these pants. With the elastic waistband, it’s forgiving and comfortable. I particularly appreciate the trimmer cut on the bottom of the leg, which feels less billowy than regular straight cut pants. The open-topped pockets for a cell phone on each side also work well. They effortlessly fit a traditional or plus-sized cell phone into a sleeve that is separate from the rest of the contents of the cargo pocket. It’s also easy to retrieve a phone placed there. The only knock against these pants is that the trimmer cut carries through to the upper thigh and groin area, which isn’t noticeable when walking on flat ground or taking stairs, but can feel confining when hiking up a steep grade or climbing.

Comfy, lots of pocket space and feel durable.
Band in the wait is great to not need a belt all the time. Pockets worked well for me, only things to mention would be the trimming of loose strings and a little longer than I anticipated.

Don't get these if you need tactical wear
These are ok pants, but don't expect to be able to do any athletic movement in them. They are incredibly stiff and allow for almost no range of motion. They are fine if you are just walking or doing some static activities, but they are not practical beyond that. They also run small to size in the waist-I normally wear 34 which is always a little loose and I wear a belt, but these pants only fit me because of the elastic parts on the waist that allow them to stretch.

Fit very well. I’m 6’, 180 so a M fit.
I am hiker and generally love the outdoors. I wanted something that was tough, fit well and of course didn’t look dorky. Well these pants are the cats ass. I have had them on many hikes. Here in Canada the temps drop to -20 c with wind. I had these on while snow blowing. They repelled the snow, kept the wind out. Of course I had long underwear on.

Amazingly Comfortable!
I bought the 28 W size and it fits great. Awesome to find 28 W these days it's getting harder to find super happy that these came in my size. Best pants I bought a little light weight than I thought the fabric would be but is really good in cold (-10 C) weather and hot weather (+17C). Water resistant which is nice and has good construction so far. Great light duty work.
