Husband loves!

Bought these for my husband this past winter since he works outside. He was impressed with these and how warm they kept him without making him sweat. He says they are comfortable and fit well. He recommends them and would definitely buy more.

Well made, good fit, functional

Decent value for the money. Bought size L in top and bottom: fit as expected, reasonably opaque to the wind (worn beneath outerwear), same fit and look after numerous washings and wearings. Would buy again (if needed).

Stop buying the cheap ones and buy the last one you'll ever need!

These are literally the best base layer pants I've ever owned. I have bought plenty of didn't base layer saying they are the best for cold temperatures, these are truly the best. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Not even warm!

I bought these to keep me warm outside in 0F weather because they were Carhartt and said heavyweight. They were not heavyweight at all, maybe compared to cheap leotards or yoga pants, and most of all not warm at all! The synthetic weave sucks the heat right out of you, like a heatsink! And they were tight, like leotards or gymnast's pants (I had to wear size Medium instead of Large due to the lack of available sizes). If there was any wool in them, it was completely imperceptible. I returned them.

Functional and warm

I’ve used these sitting outside ice fishing in 0 to -10 Celsius and just fleece pants over top. My legs stayed warm with a light 5-10 km/hr breeze. The fabric was comfortable. The size bought was good for length but a little loose in the legs. I’m a size 38 waist. When really cold I also wear snow pants and these would also work well to keep body warmer while stationary.

Amazing

Very warm thermal underwear, maybe too warm for -10C or warmer. Guess all depends what you’re doing outside, and your outer layer. But with a pair of insulated bibs over top, one doesn’t need anything else underneath.

Questioning the Sizing Chart

I usually buy a large for the Hubby and they usually fit. I'm not sure if the sizing on the label is wrong, but he 'swims' in them.... Other reviews seem to state that the sizing is accurate so I'll assume that the label may be wrong. The quality is great, but I wouldn't consider them to be 'heavyweight' at all. He says that they aren't any warmer than some of the cheaper thermals I have purchased for him.... just sayin'.
