I'm satisfied with this coffee maker ????

I like this coffee maker. I read a little a lot of reviews and decided on this one. It has made me great tasting coffee. I have to say that when you have to use paper filters, I don't think it's the coffee makers fault that they collapse and grounds get in the coffee. The water does come out into the filter basket differently in some coffee makers, but I think it's how they package the filters. They are tiered and when you get down to the bottom, they are wider and like stretched out so you have to press them to the side of the filter basket so they don't collapse.

Does work well. Needs a light!

Coffee pot works well. I like it. I set it up to auto brew at 5:30 am and works great when I remember to coffee and water in it the night before. But, the digital display is very difficult to see due to no back light in the display. They saved 2 cents by not putting a light in it. When I click auto to have it set for morning coffee, I use a flashlight to check the display and make sure it is on... But does a good job on the coffee....

Great coffee maker

I love this coffee maker. I did receive mine with rust on it but it works fine. They only thing I would change about it is the time being brighter, you can't hardly see the time to set it.but over all it's a great coffee maker.

Pretty decent!

This is a decent coffee maker. It does what it's supposed to do, at a reasonable price. I love that the filter basket is removable for easier cleaning. Display and operation is (mostly) intuitive. I really like the design of the brew head (I have no idea if thats the correct term - the part where hot water comes out and goes over the filter basket). I think it is shaped in a way that provides a more consistent brew. I've only had it for about a month, but I've had other black + decker coffee makers before and even living somewhere that has hard water and being someone who is too lazy to only use filtered water in my coffee maker, they always last longer than average for coffee makers. So I expect it will last a long time. I only have some minor complaints. Nothing that would make me not want to purchase this, but it would have made me think twice if I had a little more room in the budget when I was in the market for the coffee maker. 1) On my previous coffee maker, you could turn on the "strong brew" setting at any time. You didn't have to do it before starting the brew. This has been hard to adjust to and I don't really understand why it is set up this way. 2) The carafes pour spout is designed in a way that makes fully pouring it out difficult. When filling the coffee maker, I have to almost tip it upside down and move so that I'm dangerously close to missing the reservoir just to get all the water out. This could be fixed with a more conventionally designed pour spout. 3)The carafe is designed so that, no matter how you turn it, when coffee is brewing, steam comes out and obscures the coffee maker screen in the middle. It's very annoying but it also worries me that those components will ultimately be damaged by steam. I've never had this on other coffee makers - I think that a deeper recess for the carafe to sit in or a different shape for the carafe would help. Just my thoughts. I would definitely recommend this coffee maker, but I'd like it even more with a few minor changes!

I bought this coffee maker (different maker) because my previous coffee maker was old, slow , boiled off water, and leaked. It was time. This is an excellent coffee maker. It is FAST and the coffee is excellent..

It’s okay

Makes great coffee

A basic coffee maker, very easy to use and wipe out daily. The basket and glass carafe are easy to wash and make great tasting coffee.

Great buy

This is one of many coffee machines we have purchased over the years. This was purchased as a replacement and we are happy with it. It is easy to clean and keeps the coffee warm for a long time.

was damaged when we received it

im sure the coffee pot is fine but right out of the box the plastic was chipped and pulled away from the machine. there is no way to contact Amazon to tell them this all i can do is right a review or return it and unfortunately we where without a coffee maker so in need of this replacement. no very happy with either black and decker or amazon at right now.
