Wonderful blender

This is a great little blender, it really saved my life during radiation therapy when I couldn't swallow much. It's super easy to use, the attachments work great. I got it on sale so the value was even better. Braun makes great, reliable things so I don't imagine there will be problems with it down the line.

Sturdy and powerful

I don’t find that this is a tool I use often. But when I have used it, this one works great, is very powerful, not too difficult to clean. I have only used the immersion blender part of the set.

Looked open box, large cup, plastic connections

The 2 cup chopper was much larger than expected, that's a good thing though I thought 2 was too small and didn't want the 6 cup. The connections are plastic we'll see how they hold up. Everything is fine so far.

Only Negative is I Talk Too Much About How Much I Love It.

IMPORTANT....On the bell where you see the green stripe around it that part can move up and down (supposed to do that). When you wash the bell, water gets into that area (opening). If the water does not a chance to dry from that area rust can accumulate. To avoid this from happening always allow the bell to dry with the blade side facing up (towards the ceiling). This position will allow the water it drain out of that area. I have had this hand blender for a year now and I still love it! I originally was going to store it in a draw but it's just so nice looking that it gets to sit on my kitchen counter. It’s great for blending soups which is what I originally bought it for. I use it every other day for my after-workout recovery smoothie drink. It’s easier to clean than my blender or food processor for this plus it’s already in a serving container (beaker) once it’s blended. I use semi-frozen fruit in it and it does a good job blending it. It would not work for totally frozen fruit. In all fairness, hand blenders are really not for that purpose anyway. The bell is very easy to clean. I add a few inches of water and a little dish soap to the mixing container (beaker) and blend it. Then I rinse it well. At the time I purchase this I had problems with arthritis in my hands so I was concerned that pressing in the power switch would be difficult.... it’s not. Cayenne capsules have stopped the arthritic hand pain for me since then. I did not think I would ever use the accessories that came with it but I do! I love using the whisk. I don’t use the mini chopper very often but it's good for small jobs. I like the non-slip rubber on the bottom of it, it’s certainly never going to replace a food processor.
