Narrow, and small
The first time I ordered these I ordered a 12 because I have always been between an 11.5 and a 12. I put these on and immediately checked the size printed on the box and the boot. I thought I had and 11 or 10. Then I checked inside to see if there was something stuck in there that shouldn't be, but there was not. I returned the boots and ordered a size 13. Instead of having an insane amount of room in the boot, they fit about right. The pros are that they feel very well built, and I believe they will last a long time. I love that they have just one hook at the top when tying the laces. They are easy to get on and take off, and easy to tie. The negatives are the sizing, and there is absolutely no cushioning on the bottom. Boots normally don't have much, but these do lack there. I will need to add inserts. These should be a great choice if you don't have flat feet.

Little on the smaller side than true to size. Nice boots.
I typically wear an 11 1/2 shoe/work boot. My previous winter boots were an 11 and fit great. I ordered this in an 11 based on that, but it was too small. Went to a 12. They fit just well with standard socks (which is all I wear ). These feel warm enough that I won't need thick ones anyway. A little narrow but that should stretch with a few wearings. Since they don't offer 1/2 sizes in the bigger numbers, If you want to wear heavy socks, you may want to go up 2 sizes. They are comfortable, pretty light, and warm. Seem well made. I hate snow but I still have to be comfy when cleaning it up. Buy a pair and try them on, you can always return and try another size. Shipping is fast.

Experienced Their First Nor'Easter
Lots of room for my medium -wide foot. Not as cushiony as my last pair of snow boots. Not quite as warm in the toes either. Comfortable. Happy with my purchase. May wear with two pairs of socks on very cold days and for added cushion. Overall, for price and fit I think this was a good choice. First 2 mile walk in the snow with these boots was fun. Consider them.

So far ... so good ... but have not put them to the test in cold Minnesota winter conditions yet
So far ... so good ... but have not put them to the test in cold Minnesota winter conditions. I believe that once we have some snow and cold this year, I'll take them outside for a whirl and report back. UPDATE - January 12, 2018 - I finally got the opportunity to takes these bad boys for a stroll in -10 degree Fahrenheit conditions and I have to say that I'm impressed. I was out for about an hour and a half trek and these boots totally kept my feet super warm and dry. Snow conditions were "non-wet/non-slushy" snow so I'm assuming that's the conditions that these boots are made for ... pretty much arctic. Therefore, if you live in areas considered "Frozen Hell" (i.e. Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Northern/Northwestern Canada, Northern Alaska, Northern Quebec, "Outdoor Hockey Heaven"), then these boots are fantastic and you'll love them forever. If you live in areas that are considered "semi-winter" (i.e. It rains in the winter where you live ..... OR .... you are surrounded by slush and/or "wet" snow instead of "powder" snow), then you may want to purchase a boot that is more suited for cold, rainy conditions.

Good warm and waterproof boot
The Kamik Fargo Snow Boot is a great boot for the inclement weather of the US Northeast. Pro: - Great traction on snow of all depths as well as mud and wet surfaces. - Pretty good arch support and a rigid sole provide good feel. - Warm! Wow, are they ever warm. the first time I wore them was in the fall. It was not quite cold, but muddy and I didn't want to get my sneakers covered in mud. My feet were almost too warm. For a snow boot, however, that's not something to complain about... - Waterproof. The bottom is molded such that it is completely waterproof. I treated the upper with waterproofing spray before wearing them. Cons - They are quite stiff. I imagine after a winter of trudging through snow they would become more flexible. - I tried wearing them all day and I must say that it was not as comfortable as I would have hoped. I'd say that these are not for all day use, but your mileage may vary in that respect. Part of the issue with comfort was having the too rigid upper. All in all, I really like these boots. They are replacing some old Wolverine work boots for winter use. They will be great for playing in the snow and snowblowing/shoveling.

Wish they were warmer
The boots keep my feet dry but as for warm not such a good job for Wisconsin winters. Seems like if it gets anything below 30 degrees my feet get cold.

I'm crazy about these boots
These are about the best boots I've owned for winter weather. I have problematic, 67-year-old feet. My arches are so high that the podiatrist's nurses post pictures of them on Facebook. As a result, my feet are very particular and usually require heel lifts for me to be able to walk any distance. These boots are the first I've had that are so comfortable - with out any lifts - I can leave on when I come back in the house. We had a lot of snow yesterday, and I've walked the dog with these on, have shoveled snow, and have made multiple trips out to the garage, with no need to remove them. They keep my feet warm without a lot of moisture build up, nor have I had water get through them from the outside. I often have trouble, because I have to leave the laces so loose to accommodate my arch, with laces that aren't long enough. These laces are almost too long. I can't recommend these boots highly enough. If I were any younger, I'd order a second pair!

A good winter boot by a Canadian company
Now that I have broken these in I feel I can share my thoughts. They felt tight upon receiving them but my feet have adjusted. They are warm, have good grip and always feel secure in my footing. They have also been durable and the laces seem to be of good quality as they are holding up to the use. I would recommend these as a buy. These were also the first pair of footwear I have bought online and I am happy that sizing was good and boot comfortable to wear. I wear size 13 so shoe shopping is a nightmare in physical stores.
