Best boots I've owned, and I'm hard on boots!
I've owned various boots from various manufacturers over the years, including White's boots that a former employer provided. (I did not get to wear the White's for long as I had an injury that cut my time there short) These are functionally the same and just as comfortable, though they did take a fair amount of break in time. And yes, they did take longer to break in than my other two pairs of Georgia boots including low heel logger and low heel non safety toe versions like these. But what makes these stand apart from every other pair of boots (again, didn't wear the White's for very long) is the durability of the soles. The picture is 3 months in, and they're not even halfway worn through and they're not breaking down on the inside either. My other Georgia boots were pretty much bald by the same 3 months of wear. Keep in mind that I walk a MINIMUM of 5 miles a day, sometimes 10 plus, while carrying freight. These also have very, very good traction on ice, wet metal (equipment steps, etc), wood, snow, mud. The pair of Ariat boots I had were the worst traction I've ever had in any pair of shoes ever including dress shoes. The stitches and leather are also holding up very well despite winter weather and a fair amount of de-icer. I used to just buy cheap boots for a while and they'd MAYBE last a month to 45 days before they'd just get unbearably uncomfortable. These are less than halfway through their life after 3 months and still very comfortable. So, in the long run, they're cheaper. I do recommend odor control flat cushion insoles. Especially if you have feet like mine that sweat even in the winter. On that note, these are not heavily insulated, but still are not ridiculously cold in the winter with some good thick socks. And that was doing snow/ice removal in single digit weather. They also breathe fairly well for being quite waterproof. Bottom line, unless you need something specific like a fire rating, you won't get a better pair of boots no matter how much you spend. One last thing I've had issues with my broken pinky toes getting rubbed raw by other boots, but not with any of my Georgia boots.

G7313 is Steel Toe and Wide is not so wide
G7313 is definitely a steel toe boot in May, 2023. This boot is supposed to be a wide size but it is quite snug. A wide may barely have sufficient room in the steel toe area but time will tell. There is a snuggness on the small toe but hopefully not enough to create a problem. A regular would definitely have been too tight. I usually can wear a regular but for extra comfort I go for a wide in boots. These "wide" are on the very snug size in the mid section, barely fair room in the toe area, a smaller arch lift than my Chippewas I am used to. Also, the heel area has a straight up the back wall design that doesn't "cup" the heel as well as I would like which allows for some heel slip. The soles will likely wear faster than I am used to because it appears they have different composite of material. Time will tell if they will work out. They are a nice looking pair of boots even though the color is darker than Amazon pics.

Tough boots
Durable boots. This is my second pair. Pretty excruciating to break in but after a couple days they are comfortable and last a while.

Durable and comfortable
After several years of daily use I retired my previous pair of these boots. As expected the new ones took me a few days to break in but past that now and have no complaints on comfortability. I am outside all the time and appreciate the fact they are as advertised “waterproof”

Good boots so far
I bought size 14W and out of the box they fit well. Thats not always the case when it comes to work boots. I have worn them daily for a week now and they are beginning to break in good. I work my family's cattle ranch and bought these for my everyday boot. They have proven to be waterproof so far , have excellent ankle support and are just as stable on uneven terrain as any lower heeled boot i have owned. They did develop a high pitched squeak when walking that was easy to remedy by pulling the insole out and putting a little powder in the boot and replace insole. So far they are giving me high hopes. I'll update later.

Better than expected
These boots are great quality and feel great. I'm a climbing arborist and I love these boots. Fir the spurs well, keep my feed dry and look and feel rad. Highly recommend.

well constructed, tongue quite bulky
Great looking pair of boots. Returning them however because they appear quite a bit wider than I imagined from the pictures and the tongue has a significant amount of padding on it I found to be excessive and bulky. I found it frustrating to fold in all that material before lacing up and getting it pleated symmetrically to be annoying. It also made my feet look really chunky and I prefer a less cumbersome silhouette for boots.

Quality Boot
I’m over the top impressed with these boots. The leather is top quality, they fit perfect, very little break in time. I’m talking like a day on the job. That’s it! I greased mine up with some mink oil right out of the box. Use them for tree work, climbing with spurs. Long days on the feet. I’ll be purchasing again when needing another pair.
