Good quality leather boots
It's fit me perfectly as I have quite size calf. The zipper on the boots that's great addition convenience and helpful to take in and out. I could tell the leather has great quality as myself own several original Frye boots. It's quality handmade boots. I received compliment at work. The drawback that you need to wear thinner sock as the size fit perfectly unless you order .5 larger that your regular size. I wish the company nail or saw the sole instead of glued. So that the boots lasts longer. Overall I like the boots comfortable for walking around. I won't recommend to walk on the snow nor rain due to the finished of the sole and flat sole which doesn't get you a good grip.

Very nice- very narrow
Great beautiful quality boots. Super deal 50% off. I should have ordered a sz 6. The boots do sit higher up under my knee than my other boots. So I can feel the top if 5he boot at the back of my knee when walking- again, this should be fixed by wearing them in and as the leather loosens a bit. I am 5’1 and have narrow feet / calves. Apparently not in these boots- they are snug.. ie: need to wear them to break them in a bit. I like boots to have character, so if I squat or kneel etc.. creasing them is fine.. I love wearing boots e et where and as a mom on the go who’s out w/ kids and playing with our dog I do t worry about keeping boots shunt and perfect. If I did.. then these would still be beautiful boots but I’d just be more careful with them.

They do stretch!
Love these boots! I was debating on ordering them based on multiple reviews saying that the calves are too small for average gals. I found they fit me tightly at first but after wearing them for a few hours in the house, they soften quickly and stretched around the calves. I can now comfortably zip up the boots over straight leg jeans with no trouble. The boots really are beautiful and well made. So the take away from me is that unless your calves are really large, I'd order these and try them. They also do have a bit of elastic at the top back edge which can be stretched in order to zip them up all of the way. I also did order a half size larger than my normal shoe size and they fit fine.

Nice Boots
I noticed someone say that these are knock offs or not Frye boots-in case anyone doesn't know Frye and Co is a sister company to Frye- they are real Frye and Co. Boots they just aren't Frye boots. That said, my size happened to be less than $40, so I thought I would try them. I don't think I would pay $150 for them, but if your size is in the $60 range they may be worth a try. They are comfortable and easy to get on and off. I have no issue with the calf size.

LOOK no further. Best not I've ever owned. Still working them in. I'm a size 8. And find size 8 fit perfect. Had a little hard time with zippering all up the calf. However, it's leather and will stretch and mild to your calf/, foot. So give time. After few times wear, they now fit perfect. I would say if you have real thick calf these may not work.

Boots like frye are worth it cause they mold to your foot,last forever,and from experience ...you take care of them ..they'll last you a long time..

No breaking in and we’re comfy right away. They are getting a nice two toned look as I wear them and the leather creases in spots. Love them!

so disappointed!!!! Don't buy these boots!!!!
The boots were dry rotten and leather cracked up at the front toe....upon me putting the boots on!!!! So disappointed!!!! I was so upset I threw the boots in garbage!!! I will buy my products directly from Fyre...... the Company....the leather was thin and one boot in front was shinny and the other boot in the front had a dull look. Overall it was nightmare!!!! Good luck and be prepared to send them back.... I hope whoever buys these boots has a better experience
