Jebao Pond Waterfall Fountain Pump, 9000 GPH, 1000W I bought this pump 1.5 years ago. It's volume was fine- but it only lasted 1.5 years. For a pump that is designed to run 24/7/365 I feel this is unsatisfactory. I cannot find any information on the guarantee so I am left holding the boat anchor of a pump. P.S. the impeller has seized. It was placed down stream of a 3" Koi-Toilet in a standalone vessel, no pond debris was able to collect around the pump inlet. It was as secure as any in-service pump could be.

Jebao 9000 GPH Pump Video Review

The media could not be loaded. Based on my 2 weeks with this pump I have to give it 5 stars. Clearing longevity is a question mark and I will update the review if there are issues, but so far I am very pleased with this 9000 GPH pump. It has lowered my wattage usage, and allowed me to drive all of my pumping off one pump (less noise, less wattage, less cost on replacement (replacing just 1 pump) I plan on buying a this same pump again (as you should always have a backup on hand) The only issue I had was finding a fitting to take the 3 1/2 to 3 and then I reduced the 3 to 2 inch. I had to go to a big plumbing store (home depot and lowes did not have it) once that was set, I was golden and I am very happy with the pump. (sorry for video quality - I had to drop it down to meet the video requirements.)

Pump is shot

Today was a disaster woke up to the pump not working completely inoperable. Went to take it apart to try and do maintenance on it and it was steaming hot not to mention all the screws that hold this pump together were loose. Killed 4 of my prized koi’s do to the heat rise in the pond. Have only had this pump for 4 months. The case that connects to the water out was disfigured and some what melted. Product worked great for the four months but just stoped working all of a sudden. I’m sure the thermal protection was not working properly as well as assembly quality was completely ignored by manufacturer considering that all 8 screws were completely loose. Won’t even get into the money I lost in koi’s today some one please instruct me on what would be the appropriate channels to get this resolved. I am currently running on my auxiliary pump from my quarantine pond. The pump has never ran dry and was installed in a submerged setup.

I had a 2 horsepower 12 amps. pool pump running my 6000 gallon koi pond and a small 2700 gph pond pump running the waterfall in the same pond. I was worried the Jebao 9000 wasn't going to have enough power. Wow I was so wrong. It's out doing both of the other pumps. My waterfall is 4 times stronger and my filter is over inundated with water. I can't believe it!! Can't wait for my first electric bill. The Jebao runs on only 8 amps. I only paid $200 on a 90-day return. The other guy said it was too strong. Lol I can believe that!!!!

Piece of junk!!!!

UPDATED: It has quit working 5 months later!!!!!!! I emailed Jebao customer service and they ignored my email. This pump rocks!!!! I have a 6000 g pond with a 32ft waterfall run... This did the trick, my waterfall has never looked better. I did have a bit of trouble with the plumbing since the outlets are not a standard size but it worked out. Also be sure if you are using a basin that it gets enough flow because this pump will drain a 50 gallon basin in 1 min.

Never worked and I didn't get it into the water till 4 days past the return window by the time I got the other parts I needed for a filter since a 2 1/2 inch fitting is tough to find it turns out.. we will see if Amazon will make good on their sale of a $200 paperweight. Today is April 25 and my return window was this past Friday :-/ Didn't rush since it was a new item to make sure it worked .
