Fantastic Bag!

This bag is nearly perfect! I’ve been using it almost exclusively for just over a year now and it’s wearing very well. I bought it mostly because I liked the size and way it looked, and not so much for the security features, but it’s nice to have the option of using those if needed. Smaller size but it still fits everything I need inside. Love the striped lining. Zippers are smooth and don’t snag. Outside back pocket is perfect to slip a phone in, my iPhone 12 Pro Max fits with a case and room to spare. My only complaint is the stitching on the side of the pen slot inside is starting to come out, and I don’t love having the “Travelon” tag on the outside of the bag. Not a huge deal and I can fix those easily; overall the bag is holding up very well and I haven’t had any of the ripped strap/fabric issues some other reviewers have had. I would buy this again if something happened to this one, or maybe if I just wanted a color change. Last photo is a size comparison with two other bags in the heritage line.

Absolutely beautiful!

I purchased the gray handbag. I love it! I had bought a cell phone wallet to use for an upcoming trip I have and it was way too small. I then purchased this handbag and its stunning! It like a canvas type material, really good quality and well made. I take good care of my handbags and know that I will not have any problems with this one. Really roomy and all my stuff fits. I put a long fossil wallet in it, reading glasses my cell phone, pen, keys. A lot will fit in it. Its well worth the money. If you want a really large handbag order one. This one is not real small, but small enough to where it would not be hard to carry on a trip! Buy it!

An excellent cross-body purse

This purse is just right. It fits all the things I need day to day, plus my kindle for times when I want it but don't want to carry it. Enough pockets. Two of the zippered pockets (center and one side) have little catches so that they can't be opened only the fly by a pickpocket; I wish the third zippered pocket had that as well. I agree with a lot of the other reviewers that the label is bonkers. However, it's pretty easy to remove with a seam ripper or sharp scissors and a pair of tweezers. It's been pretty comfy so far. I'm glad I bought it.

Was great for my vacation.

Was just large enough to carry your daily essentials, passport, cash & credit cards, phone, and extra phone battery and a little space to spare. Comfortable crossbody carry. Only issue was one of the locking clasps seems pretty flimsy so I don't know how long it will hold up.

Loved this purse. It’s just too small.

Like all Travelon bags, it is well-made and well thought out. I wish it were bigger - by the time I put my cellphone, reading glasses, and sunglasses in, and there was room for nothing else.

Perfect for my needs!

I have been using this bag for about a week now. It seems in good condition and I see no issue with it like others have had so far. The clip for the strap does seem a bit cheap, so I'm not sure how long it will last, but it's holding up okay so far. It holds all of my stuff and isn't too bulky! I carry with me all the essentials--wallet, phone, keys, hearing aid case, etc. It even fits my water bottle if I squeeze it in, though of course that may not be the best practice if you want it to last. It also has lots of compartments to keep things organized, which I love. My old bag was slightly bigger and didn't have any inner pockets, so I was often fishing for stuff, but I no longer have to do that with this one. I also love the style. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of purses. That's just not my style, but this is literally like a miniature messenger bag. It looks somewhat professional yet stylish and I love the material, though I do worry that it may stain if I spill something on it. As for the security features, I wouldn't say that they are great, though that's not what I got the bag for. I do like the zipper style, but they can be hard to unclip if you have larger fingers. As I said, the strap clip does not seem particularly sturdy either. But, the strap itself does seem pretty strong. I like it. I find it comfortable and it doesn't seem like it would be easy to cut through if someone tried.

Absolutely Brilliant.

Excellent - bag comes from the States and arrived sooner than anticipated. Has presumably got all the non visible safety features as described but these do not make the bag heavy. Zip secure tabs easy to operate. Useful internal and external pockets as described. My delight is in the shoulder strap - too many bags have straps that just slide off a shoulder causing you to walk like Quasimodo. This one stays put if carried on one shoulder - brilliant!! Nice canvas fabric, not wrinkled and perfectly smart. Just love this bag ,tried two other brands before finding this one (sent the others back). I can see this one will be around for a long time.

Great travel companion.

I am rather impressed with this small bag. It has loads of pockets and is quite roomy. Plenty of space for my purse , phone , keys and travel documents as well as my kindle. As a tall lady I was worried the strap would be short but it’s perfect and I can wear cross body too ( and I’m not small). Only used in UK so far but will be with my when I go away next month. The pockets on outside of the back front and back are equally good. Really impressed and great value. As it’s pewter with the brown accents it looks nice and feels good too- a thick canvas type material.

It's a lot smaller than the pictures suggest and smaller than the dimensions given

It's small. Nowhere near as big as the photos suggest and smaller than the dimensions given. There is no way you'd get a tablet in there. There isn't going to be much room for very much. Even my iPhone 8 is a tight fit in the phone compartment. Add to that a wallet, room key, notebook, pen, any printed info you need for being out and about on your travels, and basic meds/first aid and you'll be lucky to get it all in. Debating whether to keep or return and refund, to be honest. On the other hand it is a well-made and attractive bag with good security details for traveling.

Great anti-theft bag

A great anti-theft bag, with clip-on zippers and strap. I've found it very useful both while travelling abroad, and also when being on crowded trains etc. I especially like the clip-on strap, as I can clip the bag onto the back of a seat and not worry about it being stolen! The materials is thick (presumably also because of the anti-slash material inside) and the bag has lasted almost year with many days of use. The bag is a little bigger than the usual small purse, so a water bottle can fit easily inside, and there are lots of smaller pockets on the inside. Overall a great purchase if you'd like a small but secure bag - although if you can then order well in advance, priority international shipping cost almost as much as the bag!
