Better than I expected
I thought I purchased one of these but made a good mistake and three were delivered. One fits nicely in the back of my SUV and carries items that would otherwise move around. One is in the garage and one is outside full of garden chemicals I want to be kept out of the weather and dry.

Very story rugged tubs, but narrow base and not stackable.
These tubs are some of the most rugged durable that I have seen in a long time. The lids are designed in a way to give strong structural support and not cave in or flex horizontally. The handles make a good solid snap, with a small protrusion for the tip of the lid to stick through. There is even a hole and slit to allow a lock to be placed through it. The top itself is also designed very rigid, so it won't bow or warp easily. I only have two complaints about the design. First is that the tub narrows significantly for the bottom. This makes the bottom lose a couple of inches of width compared to the top, which for such a narrow width tub is a significant percentage. The other complaint is that the ridges on the lid were not designed to allow another tub to lock into place on top of it. Because of this, you cannot stack the tubs. This is unfortunate as a lot of potential uses for these tubs would prefer the ability to stack them stably. Overall, these are great tubs for tools or to put under a bed with extra sheets and blankets in them, or out of season clothing. There would be a great buy if they were designed to not eliminate so much space on the narrowing from top to bottom, and the lids were changed to allow them to actually stack without slipping.

Just when you thought storage totes couldn’t get any better…they go and make them lockable!
The following review is for the: “Rubbermaid Pack & Go 16 Gal Storage Tote (3 Pack)”. As a couple with two pets, and multiple tool-intensive hobbies? We’ve acquired a LOT of stuff over the years. When 2023 began, my fiancé & I took an oath to take back our home…and tame all of our clutter. No matter how many storage shelves we needed to buy to line the walls of our garage. No matter how many storage totes we’d need to purchase in order for everything to find its own “home”. This brand of storage totes has ALWAYS been my go-to choice! Over the years, I’ve found that they tend to make the most durable containers in general VS. the other leading, top brand-name competitors. I’ve been saying this for YEARS now: “If only someone would come out with storage bins that have the ability to be pad-locked!”. Alas, my storage dreams have finally come true. I absolutely ADORE our new storage totes! • Lightweight, yet durable • Perfect for storing those items that you might not use every day— but that you want to be able to easily access, as needed. • Dedicate a whole storage bin to your more expensive items. We can feel safe storing all of our more expensive camping supplies in one bin, thanks to the fact that they’ll be safely locked away! Next time we go camping…we’ll be able to move our ready-to-go bin seamlessly from the shelf in the garage, straight out to the truck! • For those of your who also have wire shelving throughout your garage to hold your storage bins: these storage totes will fit perfectly. • For those of you with covers on your truck: these storage bins will not hinder you one bit! They are short enough that you would even be able to fit a few things on top of the bins— and still have room to close your bed covers with ease! Hands down, these storage totes get a 5 out of 5 star review! Highly recommended!

Rubber made gave what you'd expect, solid ridged storage case with latching lids.
It's what you would expect from rubber made. They well made, solid and ridged. It's a thicker plastic than other containers and I would consider them heavy duty. I've been using it for storage in the back of my truck for odds and ends, cables, straps, loose tools etc and its been holding up great. The lid clamps on from both sides and fit onto the box tightly. They are smaller than maybe you'd think for 16 gallons but they are what they are, check photos for measurements. Overall its a great set of 3 storage containers. Check out my photos for a closer look and measurements and I hope this helped.

Rubbermaid name and quality. But with a bit different shape.
These storage totes are nice. It's good to have the Rubbermaid name, so they will have the quality to go with them. But, first thing I noticed is the dimensions are a bit different than your run-of-the-mill plastic tote. These are longer but shallower than I'm accustomed to seeing. That should make them fit better in car trunks, or in spaces where vertical room for storage is limited. The lids lock with flip latches on each end, and those latches also include a hole to secure everything with a lock should you choose. They also have recessed lateral grooves on the lid to allow for strapping them down say in the bed of a truck, but without having to worry about the strap slipping off. For me, these will end up storing Christmas decorations, but they will be good for just about anything.

High Quality totes!
These are excellent totes constructed from PP plastic, which considered among the safest! It is food safe and has a very low chance of leaching. These totes are not very stackable, but that doesn’t matter to me because that is not my plan. They aren’t very stackable because of the design, not because of their strength. They just don’t lock in together, if that makes sense. These are very sturdy totes. I tested one: I bent it, twisted it, and banged it around and it has held up great! I’ve bought a lot of totes over the decades and these seem like excellent ones… and they had better be for the price tag. Rubbermaid always comes out at the top of the pack! Would recommend.

Great rugged containers
These containers are a decent size. They are also plenty sturdy and rugged. Their first use was on top of a roof rack with tons of stuff in them and they even got exposed to a little rain. They remained dry inside, but I don't think they'd do as well in a heavy storm while driving. But, the lids do clasp on and hold pretty well. I did use a bungee for extra security just in case. They seem plenty durable and I plan to use them quite a bit more in the future.
