Good Light for the money - defective bulbs in both units

Good Light for the money - defective bulbs in both units. I purchased two of these lights. I tested both and determined that the red wire (STOP - high brightness) would short to ground. The brown wire (tail light - lower brightness) would illuminate. I removed the bulb and retested. No short in wires. Tested the bulb - it was shorted to the case on one of the contacts. EXACT same thing on the second unit. They must have a bad batch of 1157 bulb (most likely from china). So now I have to order a set of 1157s and spend another $4.50 ish...... Called the customer service - they were very nice BUT did not have or offer replacement bulbs.......

Direct replacement for 2013 Keystone Alpine

These were a direct replacement for the lights in my 2013 Keystone Alpine 5th Wheel. The only thing I didn't notice was there are only 2 wires on these lights as opposed to 3 on originals. I simply had to add a ground wire to them by screwing onto the back of the housing and adding a wire.

Good but needed help right out of the box

How hard is it to paint the inside of these with silver reflective paint? I noticed that these are very well constructed but the light intensity sucks! So I got a can of Aluminum wheel paint and painted the inside of them and now 50% brighter and better angle viewing from any distance. Will update with video on how.
