Removed from ground a few days after installing
I don't like to leave negative reviews for cheap products but I just decided to rip this hose out of the ground after installing it the other day. The reason is that I just realized the corrugation rings are made from brittle plastic-- so brittle that if you squeeze it with your thumb, the ring will break and the sharp plastic will penetrate out the side of the hose like a compound bone fracture. I realized this because I have been troubleshooting my fountain for a few days since switching to this hose to find the leak. Since the hose was new, I did troubleshooting and some silicone sealing trying to find the leak first. Then I finally ruled out all possible problems except this brand new hose. As it turns out, a few pounds of force being exerted on this hose by burying in a region that is not walked on is enough stress to cause failure. Not only would I not use this hose for /any/ new applications, ever, I have now removed it from where I installed it the other day. Perhaps this hose has some uses, but it is not robust enough to install in an outdoor yard environment. Edit: I agree with the review currently below mine that this hose fits too tight on a 1" barb. When using with 1" Banjo fittings, of 4 connections I installed, two had one of the white brittle plastic corrugation rings break apart and thereby also rip apart the hose at that location also when cramming onto the barb.

Seems to run a little small on the inner diameter. It was very difficult to get it to fit on a standard 1" hose barb, I heated it in hot water, and still had to work and work and work to get it even half way down the barb. Once on, it seems to be holding quite well, but I'll be swapping it out for something I can get all the way on the barb.

Not bad
Yes and no.Depends what your doing with it.a bit small for regular 1"barbs BUT works well with one inch slip fittings that come with bulkhead fittings. I am using it with an aquaponic setup and it is easier to use than ridged PVC and doesnt grow algae like clear vinyl tubing.

Have had this one on a while and it has held up very nicely.
actually bought this hose to replace the one for my Wagner Power Sprayer. The hose that came with the unit was not durable and had to keep trimming it as it would crack. Have had this one on a while and it has held up very nicely.

Vinyl hose
Needed some corrugated hose to plum a filter in our fish pond. This works fine. Easily cut if needed.
