Fits well, true to size, light, nice and flowy

This type of dress is a nice staple to have in your closet, you can dress it up or down and wear for work, cocktail, dinner or basically any occasion. It washes well, it's light and flowy.

POLYESTER AND DRY CLEAN ONLY

I have no patience and no budget for dry clean only. One of the benefits of polyester is supposed to be that you DON'T have to dry clean it. It is not scratchy, but it does have a polyester look/feel. The pattern is feminine but not fussy. Fit is as expected. A cute summer dress overall, but not worth $98.00 and not worth the hassle of dry cleaning.

Very pretty dress, and great for vacation travel

This review is for the BCBGeneration Women's Short Sleeve V Neck Elastic Stretch Asymmetrical Ruffle Hem Mini Dress (Large, Fallen Petals). Very pretty dress, one that my wife likes for vacations since it looks nice, doesn’t wrinkle easily when packed, and can work for either semi-casual events as well as evenings. It has a nice cut and design, soft material, and looks great when wearing it. The pattern has just enough of a design to give the dress a cute look, without being “too busy”. One thing to be aware is that the cut of the top does drop down fairly low and is slightly revealing. Whether that is an issue or not is an individual preference, depending on your comfort level. But it is a very pretty dress, and great for vacation travel.

Not a great fit at the top

I ordered this dress in my usual small, and the fit feels really comfortable. The waist is really flattering, and the length is just right on me, at about mid thigh. It's hard to tell in the photo, but the opening for the arms comes down to the waist, and the black lining comes up to right under my arm which I think looks really unique and pretty. Love the feminine ruffles, and the pop of color is gorgeous. The V cut is really low and the material covering the chest is too baggy. I am an A cup, so this doesn't surprise me too much, but I think any average sized woman would have this issue. It's just a lot of extra material there. I am going to have to try and close the gap myself if I want to wear this. But as cute as it is, it may be worth the effort.

Very cute style

I'm not usually a dress gal but this is too cute. Great summer piece, it's very lightweight and flowy. Material is sheer and cut very well, good length. Love the pattern of the material. The top had just enough room for a larger chest, still a bit tight though but I wouldn't say to order up or it will be too large overall. Nice quality piece.

Cute and flattering

This is a very cute dress and the quality is great. This is my first time with this brand, and I’m not disappointed. It’s a flattering dress that would look nice on most body types and I like that you can dress it up or down. I got my normal size Large, and it fits, but I wouldn’t want it to be any smaller.

Cute dress

I got the BCBGeneration Women's Short Sleeve V Neck Elastic Stretch Asymmetrical Ruffle Hem Mini Dress in X-Large. It is cuter than it looks online. The top has a fitted black part, and then the floaty floral layer that is slashed down the sides. In person, it is easier to see where the cute floaty part is, whereas it just looks a little wide in these product photos. The wrap did gape on me, so I pinned it with a small safety pin. This is supposed to be dry clean only, but I ignored that for a polyester dress. I put it in a delicates bag and the hung it to dry and it was absolutely fine. I think this is a cute summer dress. It looks great with sneakers for a casual look, but I can also dress it up.

This little dress is adorable. Cuter than pictured! It fit exactly as described! I would definitely purchase more in different colors!
