Towel bar looks good, template wasn't right

This is a sturdy and attractive towel bar. I am overall happy with it, however there were some darker areas on it that I don't think will come off. They aren't very noticeable, but I still would prefer a perfect part. USE THE TEMPLATE WITH CAUTION -it will probably steer your wrong and your spacing will likely be off. You could just measure 24" and make two level marks on the wall, then measure where the other two holes go. Lastly, the fitting is pretty sensitive and did not go on perfectly flush with the wall (probably due to slightly being off), but it looks fine.

Quality look and feel

The product was quite attractive and functional ( we needed to hang two towels in a limited space). I was not impressed by the mounting of the product. There was a visible gap between the wall and the installed rack. I tried to improve this gap with a repeated install but ended up with a similar issue. Save for that minor issue, the rack is well done.

Great bar but

This is really a nice towel bar. Good quality and finish. My gripe? I used their template to place the wall mounting brackets. Easy. The problem? After mounting the brackets the bar didn't fit. Why? The template didn't match the bar by about 3/8". I elongated the mounting holes in the brackets so I could compensate and mount the bar but, obviously, the template should have been accurate. Note to self: always check first. Still a good product.

Good looking stylish design and the bar itself is good quality, but the mounting hardware is extremely poorly designed and made, the template is wrong. It is extremely hard to line the two mounting pieces up to the exact location so the bar will be connected perfectly. I had to re-drill new holes and took me a long time to install (I'm a handy person so it's not me). I installed two double bars, two single bars, and a toilet tissue holder. All five have the same issue! A couple of months later, the bars became wobbly again and we have to remove them from the wall, file the mounting hardware so it would fit in the bracket that goes on top of it, also replaced the plastic anchors and screws with toggle bolts...such a pain! I think the designer designed it this way so the screws are not visible, but I'd rather install the type of towel bars that have visible and you can just screws it to the wall and know where they are going.

Go for the single bar instead

It truly is hard to hang two towels on this rack you really have to work hard to put the towels on the rack It’s best to just go for single bars

Please note that 24" is the spacing between the brackets; the actual length of the towel bar is almost 27". This worked (barely) for me, but if you've got a tight space, go for the next smaller size. Anyway, I was pleased to see that the mounting hardware included the plastic drywall anchors with pop-out wings instead of the cheap screw inserts. The towel bar was easy to install, seems very sturdy, and looks great.

Double Towel Rail

This is a modern, functional double towel rail which I love. There is plenty of space between the two bars for the towels to have an airflow between them, the design is such that there is a slight curve on the outer rail to give this extra space. The quality is very good, sturdy and stylish. I only wish an 18 inch model would be put on the market, as I am looking for one this size!
