The best bib!

Soft around the neck, lays flat whereas the all plastic ones would bend up at her neck. Nice big bowl at the bottom catches most food that she drops. Went back and bought more so we have one for each meal and one for diaper bag.

Worth it- best we've tried

Pros: soft on neck, does not ride up, flexible, Cons: expensive, not instantly dry like all silicone, not as wide as I would like. I love this bib! We've been using it for several months now for 3 meals a day, every day. The top half is a thin material kind of like what a tent is made of and the bottom half is a soft, flexible silicone. It's easy to roll up and throw in a diaper bag. I just wipe or rinse off the bib most days and leave it to dry hanging off the high chair. I use a mild soap for big messes or once a week if no big messes. It is not dry instantly but does dry fairly quickly if hanging. It's ready to go by the next meal. The Velcro is strong and my baby has not been able to pull the bib off yet. I like that the top half is soft around her neck and does not ride up if the bottom gets moved by the tray. I only gave it 4 stars because I wish it was a little wider. My baby turns her head to look around and gets food on her sleeves. Overall it is the best bib we've tried (we've tried many) and I would recommend it-even for the price. Maybe just have a different bib as a spare for in case it's not dry for a mid-meal snack or splurge on 2. (I use one of my many reject bibs as a spare)

Best bib I’ve found so far

After trying various types of bibs for our eight-month-old, this one works better than any so far. Ideally, I would say the full-silicon is best, but our baby hated the little buttons on the neck. It was a major struggle to get those bibs on her, and then they tended to bunch out at the neck because it wasn’t a proper fit. This one gives the advantage of the silicon pouch to catch food, and the Velcro neck is much easier to put on. The baby has more movement, and is clearly much happier wearing it. I will add that it is slightly more difficult to clean, but not so much that it is a problem. My one real complaint is that I wish it was slightly wider. Overall, however, I would recommend this bib as a clearly better solution for the messy learning-to-eat phase.

I called OXO and they were so wonderful to replace the bib

I live in a place where it is humid all year round. My child's first OXO bib got moldy within 3 months. Yes, it was difficult to remove and I tried everything. I called OXO and they were so wonderful to replace the bib! (The green one is beautiful, by the way.) I used the new bib for nearly 5 months through the dry summer in California and there were no molding issues. I am back in my humid environment and I am going to see how the bib will hold up with me drying it in front of the fan after a clean and wash with every use. I just purchased my second bib so that the first bib can dry thoroughly and because we love the OXO bib so much. As a traveling family, we love this bib on the go, in plane rides, and to and from relatives' and friends' home. I stick a silicone spoon (non-Oxo spoon ok!) inside and roll it up before popping it into my diaper bag. With regards to stains, I noticed raspberries did the bib harm, and when at first I thought the stain just cannot be removed, I would mix baking soda and water into a paste, let the paste dry on the stain and scrub with an old toothbrush. No more stains for us!

Good coverage, but hard to clean thoroughly

I love how much area this covered - definitely prevented much more mess than normal cloth bibs, and easy to rinse off for the next feeding! However, I noticed that the woven nylon portion starts to smell after a few uses, even when we washed it with dish soap and put it in the laundry. I disinfected it with hydrogen peroxide and it instantly fizzed up, which means that food/drool particles were clearly still trapped in it. After ~5 minutes of soaking in hydrogen peroxide, and then 30 minutes of rubbing and leaving a baking soda paste, it smelled fresh and clean again, but I find myself doing that about once a week, and that is a bit of a chore.

THE BEST BIB.

This is the best bib PERIOD. Between the design to catch food and the materials used, it is perfect in my opinion. We've had three that we rotate through daily use by handwashing/rinsing after each use followed by hang drying (dries in hours or less) and washing machine cleaning once a week, give-or-take. They have lasted about 18 months with only one showing some wear because we machine washed it with an inferior bib with courser Velcro that mangled the edges of the fabric. *muffled cursing at inferior bib* The easy portability feature is icing on the cake. These should be issued by hospitals in take home kits or somehow made compulsory baby shower gifts. On a less pleasant note, they were also super handy when our daughter had a stomach bug. It's not like it's easy to lean a baby/toddler over a sink or toilet or whatever when the poor thing is vomiting, especially when they're exhausted and passed out on your chest. This bib caught it all and could be easily cleaned. OXO's strong backing also doesn't hurt, though we've never had to contact them about this product.

The only bib you need!

Favorite bib of all time! It's easy for the child to wear as it's comfortable on the neck and great at catching food messes with the lip on the bed. Flexible material, easy to wash even in the dishwasher, and easy to transport in purse or diaper bag. I have tried several brands with my two children over the years and I'm so pleased to have found this option. My daughter refused to wear another brand with a more rigid design and the expensive nylon bibs were not catching the dropped food particles even though they had a pocket. This is the winner! I love the dark colors and we do not have any stains on the bibs and have used them for over a year. I have two that I keep in rotation and bought a third recently because I wanted another color. The hook&loop fastener is strong and is still going strong after a year though it has a weakened only slightly with repeated dishwasher use but I don't think most people would wash them as often as I have. Try this bib! It will be the only one that you need.

Mis baberos favoritos!!! Cómo explico que mi hija desde mes seis lo usaba y ahorita que tiene dos lo sigue usando! Después de dos años de uso están indactos!!! Se lava super fácil y se almacena enrollandose!! Suave para el cuello de bebé, la bandeja agarra TOOOOODO y es tipo impermeable, mi hija ha escupido agua, yogurt, leche, todo y nunca se ha mojado y con la bandeja se guarda los líquidos, muy muy bueno! Los compro de vez en cuando para regalar

Excelente babero para inicio de BLW

Excelente compra tanto así que pedí de nuevo otro. El cambio de material de la parte superior es excelente por que no es duro y no les lastima el cuello, es de tela plastificada fácil de limpiar. La parte de abajo es suficientemente amplia para recoger todo lo que le caiga de la boca. Para transportarlo en la pañalera es excelente ya que se enrolla y se puede guardar perfecto, inclusive dentro puedes guardar su cuchara y siempre llevarlos juntos.

No lo recomiendo porque...

No me gustó que cuando mi bebé toma algo líquido el babero no lo cubre, se traspasan todos los líquidos. Recomiendo mejor usar un babero que sea completo de plástico, es más fácil de limpiar. Este lo tienes que estar lavando con jabón y esponja porque se le pega todo en la parte que es de tela

Lo mejor de lo mejor

Es portátil, se lava fácil y te ahorra molestias y muchas lavadas de ropa par manchas difíciles. Es muy flexible, lo que lo hace escelente par enrollarlo y transportarlo a todos lados y si se ensucia mucho, se puede limpiar fáicl con un trapo o toallita húmeda.

Excelente compra

Excelente calidad, esta increíble que lo puedas guardar, no se cae la comida al piso, casi siempre cae en el babero, en color gris no se ven las manchas, y es muy cómodo en la parte de arriba ya que no es rígido.
