They worked great and did the job

Bought these for a craft project. They worked great and did the job. My only complaint is that they had industrial grease all over them, assuming it was from the production process.

Covered in grease

The washers came very timely but had one package open and a few washers missing. They were covered in oil, which I was not anticipating, and therefore couldn't be used as I had hoped. They were all in good shape, just not how I expected them to be.

Plain finish is washer code for covered in oil and...well...nasty. I felt I needed to wash myself after touching them. There were broken washers in the package which I guess I can accept but I don't have to like it. I will not be ordering these again. I would hate to say there was no TLC included in the package but that is really what I believe way down deep. Life is too short to use washers not packaged with love.

False advertising

This is a truly awful product. It does not deserve 1 star. As noted by many other reviews, these washers are a complete mess. Even after extensive cleaning they are awful and almost unusable. Actually, if I am smart, even though I put significant effort into cleaning them, I will throw them out as a bad selection. However, worse than that in my opinion, the picture for the product constitutes false advertising. They look nothing like a shiny new washer. The washers look like they came off of a 35 year old engine that has been leaking oil for at least 20 of those years. Amazon sells this product under their own name, which is why I thought it would be at least ok to buy these. The product is remarkably inexpensive, which might justify a very thin washer, or something like that, but it does not justify the awful muck they ship. They should either come up with an alternative supplier or stop selling the product under their name.
