Plastic wheels
Easy install. Direct fit replacement for the skids. Worked well until the plastic wheel cracked and eventually broke off.

Great improvement in snowblower mobility!
Description did not say it would fit my EGO 2 stage snowblower, but I sent for it anyway. Fit perfectly. Very easy to remove EGO skid shoes and install these. Put a quarter under the shoes for a minor bit of clearance. Works great! I can now roll the snowblower over my garage floor and driveway with one hand. I can't believe somebody else didn't think of this before. In real world use these wheels improved the mobility and ease of use of the snowblower. Well worth the small price. Used a 1/2" ratchet set to remove and replace the bolts that hold this in place.

They will get me through
Not real excited about these they do not fit 2.5in mounting holes I had used gr.inder To make them work. I'll wait till summer and change them out for something a little more sturdy. But i hope these will make it through the snow season.

These should be standard issue on every snow blower
These were a piece of cake to install and are a 100% improvement over basic "skid shoes" - either steel or poly. I started replacing the original steel skid shoes with poly slides years ago because a) they rust and b) they were leaving scars all over my driveway/patio...but the poly slides require constant adjustment as they wear down and you have to replace them every year. And the snow blower just runs easier on the rollers so if these last a couple of seasons I'll be doing less damage, less maintenance, and spending less money. Win-win-win.

Good durability
You just need to apply a squirt or two of a 100% silicone lubricant to keep them moving free before every use

After 4+ years on real world use still love em.
I have been using these for 4+ years in Wisconsin winters with a pretty large driveway. No issues or problems so far. they work as well as the first day I got em. Don't slide your blower when turning. Lift it up just a bit and turn; they should last you a long time.

Only lasted one snow season
Fearly good but Only lasted one snow season. Switched to Snowking Roller Skids way better quality and materials.

Wonderful! It glides over slabs.
Better than new. My snow blower always would ram into the cement driveway slabs, but lately had gotten worse. Upon checking the original steel skids that adjust the height of the blade off the ground were worn down, adjusting them down made it catch on one side or the other as these we too badly worn ( the bottom plate was gone entirely). I never like the idea a a steel skid scratching along. When I learned there was a skid with built in roller and the skid itself is made of a heavy plastic, I wanted to try it. I adjusted them so that the wheel kept the blade about 1/8" off the ground. So it rides on the wheels with the plastic body of the skid just off the ground. If I hit a cement slab that is more than 1/4" up, the angled front edge of the skid would lift it to the point the skid wheel takes over. Never once did I get stopped by a high slab. It was wonderful!

Snowblowing or snow-rolling?
Bought these to install on my craftsman snowblower. Like a previous poster mentioned, the "universal" comment did not apply for my machine. I had to drill an extra hole in my snowblower frame and then attach the bolts. Not a great deal of work, but it definitely wasn't universal. The extra large flat washer is useful for holding the entire unit in place and once it was all tightened up nicely, the rollers work great! I have a very large cement driveway that has a slight slope down, and it takes approximately 50 minutes to clean. I've used my machine three times already, in snow as deep as 2" so far, and had no problems. These allow the machine to glide right along - much more efficient than the OEM skid plates. Very happy with these so far and would definitely purchase them again!

Not recommend for dirt or gravel driveways
So I have a gravel chip driveway that is hard on the regular skids. So I thought maybe a skid with wheels would help. Nope. The gravel gets between the wheels and skid effectively jamming the wheel and stopping it from rolling. In the images you can see the result after only two outings. Although, I have a long driveway. Maybe a regular paved driveway would have better results.

They work with a slight modification
These were put on a Craftsman snowblower. Unfortunately the holes didn't quite line up with the old ones but were so close it wouldn't really work well to drill new holes on the snowblower. So instead I modified the holes on the snow shoes themselves. Although not a perfect solution it did work. It took a couple of tries to get the height set up but not a big deal. Once on the snowblower these are working great. The snowblower has never moved so easily. I am using them on an interlocking brick driveway. Recommend.

Well Designed Snow Blower Skids
This is an excellent choice for replacement snow blower skids and the wheels add extra protection from uneven or rough surfaces. The materials used appear durable and they should stand up to regular use. Keep in mind that the larger width and the wheel will provide some resistance when plowing deep snow that has compacted.

Roller skid shoes
Purchased these for an old Eaton's company Viking snow blower that was given to me by my Dad a long time ago. The original skid shoes were worn out and I thought I would try these. They were easy to install and makes moving the blower around much easier and without marking up my new driveway. The real test will come when we actually get enough snow in order to use the blower with these new skid shoes. So far they look very promising and are also recommended by Amazon.
