Excellent lockset

Excellent, safe, strong and nice looking. I put it on my security door and was able to rekey it myself in seconds so one key goes to all my doors. No problems and super easy install.

Like the dark bronze appearance of these locks. They class-up our humble home. My first time setting 3 sets for same key. A bit confusing at first but now it's so easy. Glad we paid a bit more for these and have secure locks that fit tight and don't rattle like our old cheap ones did.

Excellent for arthritisy hands!!!

I love this door lever and deadbolt set!! Not only are they pretty to look at, but best of all it doesn't hurt my hand to use it!! You can literally open the door with one finger pushing down on it!! And the rekeying feature is excellent as well, now we can still use the keys we already have that work on both doors, and have given out to family too!! ???? The levers do seem just a bit loose, but it's probably just the way it's made. We had a small bit of trouble installing the levers, they don't make it clear in the instructions how to flip them, so i went and found a YouTube video and it was very simple. THEN i noticed if you pay attention to the earlier instructions, it already told you how to get one off at the beginning, so i felt like an idiot then lol. :P On the single direction saying to flip them, they should reference you back to the step where you took one off already, just in case you don't remember that bit. I plan on buying another set for the other door, and am trying to figure out how to install one on a custom built tin covered steel frame gate as well, tho with the gate planned to be 3 inches thick to match the fence im not sure how yet.

Like the functionality, love the design

I got a set of this Lido style door handles to replace some Schlage ones. I loved it so much I ended up replacing every doorknob in my house with this style. The rubbed bronze looks very high quality, though it wouldn't have been my first choice except for the fact that all my faucets and other things around the house are bronze, so I needed to match them. Nevertheless, they look great. Pros: [+] Quality. These are quite heavy and practically 100% metal, which makes them look and feel very sturdy. [+] Noise. They aren't completely silent but they were much quieter than my old Schlage handles. This was actually the main reason I decided to upgrade, is I hate when it's impossible to open a door at night without waking up everyone in a 3 mile radius. [+] Rekeying. I was able to buy a deadbolt & handle set as well as the fancy front-door style handle and deadbolt set. They came keyed differently, but I was able to follow the instructions without much trouble and rekey them so I can use one set of keys on all of them. [+] Style. I really love the general aesthetics of these. All of the similar handles I looked at looked really boring in comparison. [+] Reversible. Super easy to switch any knob back and forth between right-handed and left-handed. [+] Indoor locks. The interior locked handles I got are great. I hate the cheap kind that you can open from the outside by just putting your fingernail in the big slot and turning your finger half way. These ones require the smaller included tool that has to go all the way inside the knob to grab the unlocking mechanism. Cons: [-] My keyed handle that I put in my garage, I could not figure out a way to reverse the keyhole. It's a left-handed knob, and I was able to switch the knob to be left handed fairly easily, but that left the keyhole upside-down. Maybe there is a way to do it, but if so, I couldn't figure it out. Not a huge deal since it still works just fine, but it does bug me a little to look at an upside-down keyhole. [-] The indoor strike plates were great, but my garage and front door set weren't the standard size you usually see, so in order to use them it would have required me to re-drill all the holes and recessed part of the door frame to fit properly. Too much trouble, I just left the old strike plates on instead, which worked perfectly fine with these handles. Just a little bit worn down from all the years they were paired with my old knobs. Not a big deal though. Conclusion: Replacing every handle in my house was a little pricey, but I am thrilled with the results. I just staggered my orders so I could replace the handles in separate phases, one floor at a time. So it didn't seem quite as expensive as doing them all together. But I think the price was worth it because these are extremely nice.

High Quality and Solid

The quality and solid feel are positives to this product. The Smartkey technology is super easy and a novice can change the key to match any Smartkey compatible blade insert. This doesn't detract from the security of the lock as you MUST have the original key to change the key out to a new one. The only negative is that although the handles are reversible the curve of the handle will curve up instead of down as pictured. This may or may not be a consideration for you but if you are matching interior doors to the same hardware look as this exterior door handle it will be noticed. I would purchase again and really appreciate the Smartkey feature as I am using this for an entrance door for employees and staff at a medical office.

Ugly

Everyone finally moved out. In a nutshell I was tired of everyone having keys to my house. I'm not Walmart. No I'm not talking about my kids, I gave them keys. It's my father in law and his sister. They like to shop disposables and I wonder why I'm out of everything when I'm always at work. Sorry dad no more loafing at my house running my AC and watching TV all day (she won't let him run up her bills). I know this sounds harsh but at least one relative has supported dad and given him a roof over his head 94.28% of his life free of charge. I let him move in and he quit his job and stayed for over 10 years... It's my aunt's turn. Love the concept of controlling who, when, and then locking them back out. Like the other person with multiple locks some are missing parts. The door handle on the garage, the lock spins passed unlock so I always use the dead bolt. I have 3 sets. But..... gawd they're ugly. This is them less than 2 years old. I'm trying to console myself saying that function is better over aestetics but... it's way cheaper giving dad an allowance.
