A great value and very useful!!

We use this metal basket to carry and store the wood for our fireplace. Besides being attractive, it is sturday and versatile. It handles even the larger cuts. The handles are strong enough for large loads! My husbamd commented that this basket was quite a find for the convenience and price!

holds a substantial amount of firewood

This "basket" fits beside our wood stove although tighter that I had hoped. It holds a substantial amount of firewood and all the debris falls into the bottom where it can be cleaned up more easily. In fact, I like it so much I have ordered a second one to fit on the other side of the wood stove. When we need the fire here in the Midwest, we have that thing cranked and go through a lot of wood. This will give us a substantial amount without having to make a trip to the wood stack so often. The graphite color blends perfectly with our 30 year old wood stove as if they were made for each other.

Works well but Metal bends easily

Got this item to make it easier when I haul firewood inside my house. Upon delivery, I noticed one upper section had a big dent in the metal. I was able to push it mostly back into shape with my hands but had to use pliers for the last section near the welded bars. Surprised how easily this dented during travel (box showed no signs of damage) and how easy I bent 90% back into place using just my hands. Metal looks a bit warped from where I had to fix it but not worth the hassle of returning this and waiting for a new one, considering how large this is.

Perfect size and color

I just got this today and it's great. We bought the graphite color and it's a dark charcoal grey. Perfect size and color. It has a small footprint. I put felt floor protectors on the bottom of it. It fit 1 1/2 packets of firewood from the hardware store perfectly. I was surprised since the measurements seem to indicate it was very small but it works and is more modern than the choices out there.
