Works well

While it's not as nice as a regular power shear it works very well. I bought this instead of a regular shear because i don't do enough steel to justify a battery shear but i needed to cut several long sheets. It cuts faster than you can go and stay straight with the cut. I run it about ½the speed it can go so i can have control. Overall i would rate it very high as it performs very well for what it is designed for.

Great tool but i think it should last sharpened longer. I could also be bigger because wavy metal is more problematic

Equivalent to sliced bread

You'll have to find the angle to hold the drill and the cutters handle to drive it. Once you get the feel you'll be less hard on the blades and better be able to preserve the quality of the blade's edge. Worth there weight in gold. Doing HVAC, one dude bust them out on the first job I was on. Seen what they did instantly knew I had to have those, one of the better if not best purchased tool for hvac purposes. No need for carpal tunnels now????

takes a few times to find the sweet spot for the smoothest fastest cut but well worth it. emphasis on using the tool properly for best results

Ready to go right out of the package. Great for cutting out the side of a furnace or a spot you don’t want to do by hand.

Need three hands. Could be good for you. It depends.

Because the unit swivels on the drill attachment, you need three hands to both hold the piece your cutting and the appliance. I work alone in place other than a work shop that makes it difficult to do both hold the piece and use the cutter. If there was an option to lock and unlock the cutter depending on use, I would have kept it. Unfortunately. I returned the item. It didn’t suit me but could suit you depending on how you work. I assume it cuts well even though I haven’t managed to use it and actually cut something.

Great tool

I am an Hvac tech I have a lot more expensive electric shears. These work just as good for a fifth of the cost. They fit nicely in your tool bag and will work in any drill or impact which we all have already. I haven’t had them long but even if they only last a couple years it’s worth the money you can buy five for what I paid for my makita shears. They turn corners sharp and cut relatively fast. All in all I am happy with my purchase.

Amazing product

This is my second one. Live it for cutting open furnaces for return boots. Saves my wrists and time. Highly recommend and get all my techs to purchase. In the hvac trade this helps in most jobs wether it’s tin banging or cutting in humidifiers to Ac doors etc!

Love it

This works great. Ive only used on 24g but it Feels solid. Very easy to use. I'd recommend. I can see there will be times the handle may not fit when I have to cut in tight spaces. It would be nice to have the option of screwing the Handel into the side as an option one day but overall I dont regret buying this. Very Very handy.

Solid performer

Cuts really well and feels well made. Takes a little practice to get over humps in ridged roofing/siding metal -- clamping down the work helps a lot, but overall a big step up from manual snips or grinding disks. Attaches to impact driver easily and is certainly way cheaper than a dedicated tool. No visible wear so far after a few dozen long cuts.
