Works on a surprising variety of thick, fibrous plant stalks, if you let the blades do the work.
I have almost 2 acres of land. Each year the marguerite daisy population gets really thick and if you don't cut them early with a string trimmer, their stalks get large (1 inch or more) and are very fibrous. In January I broke my fibula and couldn't get out to cut them and they are very large with all the rain we have had here on the coast in Northern Baja California. I got this product to see if it would cut these stalks using the very old Homelite string trimmer I own. With patience, this product cuts through the stalks. Make sure that you order extra blades in case you break one. So far I am 1/3 through cutting and have only broken 3 blades. This has been much easier on my 70 year old body than squatting and cutting the stalks with a machete.

Works GREAT!!
This handy tool works fantastically! Get ready for power weed eating! I bought 2 of these and they do need adapting to each different weed eater, so they may not be a universal fit, but with some improvising and my own parts and adjustments, this cutter is incredible and works great!! I replaced it with a similar product that had broken plastic pieces, and perhaps with time and use, the plastic may break, but in the meantime, it works wonders against heavy weed eating.

Far better than the line.
The Weed Warrior, for me, turned out to be a good buy. The only drawback is the blades. They burn up quickly when cutting out the weeds between the cracks in the concrete sidewalks. You have to develop a certain touch, much different than that used when working with weed wacker lines, in-order to extend the life of the blades. Even then, you'll still end up having to change blades, depending on how large your property, several times. But I will purchase this product again, if and when the need arises. Because it's better than working with the line.

Hmmm
My husband loves this weed eater head but it keeps coming unscrewed while he is using it. We followed all the directions & tightened it as much as possible. Have reached out to the manufacturer & will update when they respond.......

Does what it says with a few caveats
It does cut grass and thicker weeds, but.. I think this is almost exclusively better at the bigger stuff, but not too big. I was able to knock down some tough weeds in my ditch with ease. However, using it on some small saplings didn't fare as well. Sure it was thicker, but I figured this would get it anyway - nope, trying this caused it to throw one of the blades which caused the whole thing to go off balance. Ended up having to use the replacements that came with it on my first use! I will say that changing the blades was incredibly easy, but not as easy as string line. I also found that trying to do real edging near my flower beds and home was not exactly great with this. The head loves to catch on things and kick back at you whenever possible, seriously wear foot protection. It also has a nasty habit of getting so caught that it nearly stops entirely, once actually killing the motor. I worry that it will strip itself on the bolt and be a huge pain to remove if I ever need to. The grass it trimmed was fine, but it likes to get caught and drag itself into the grass causing bare or shorter spots. Also was difficult to get into corners. I think this has its place, but it's not generally what I need around my house. It's easy to change the blades, sure, but they're not nearly as available everywhere as string line. Think it's just easier and simpler that way. Oh and finally, the thing is really heavy so I felt like I was on full throttle almost the whole time using it. Definitely not for electric trimmers, but almost too much for a 25cc as well. I'll probably buy a string head when I break my last set of blades (which will probably be the next time I use it).

Works great on my Echo SRM 225
I was replacing an old head that had a similar bladed design but required disassembly to replace any worn blades. This one is fantastic. The blades take a beating before needing replaced and when that time comes they swap out with relative ease. The head itself goes on as easily as any other head. Durability is about par for the course with other types that I have tried but the ease of swapping the blades out when they are worn is what makes this thing really shine. Cutting power is about even with other blades as well. It goes through twig-sized growth with ease and can be used to cut weeds out of the ground and destroy some of their roots. Of course, as with any attachment like this, be careful in areas near things you don't want destroyed. This thing can grab and run away a bit and can be tough to keep from running at least a few inches when it grabs. Especially if you are revving at full power. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and recommend this attachment to anyone with a robust weed whacker that has some bigger brush they want to get through.

Totally impressed
Once I figured out how to install it properly on my home lite weed eater, it works amazing. Will cut through 1/2 inch weed stocks. A bit of a learning curve on how to work it so weeds don’t get tangled, and how much throttle to give. The nice thing is you can see the blade spin so you know how close to get to objects. Don’t want to hit anything solid, as you might damage the plastic blade. Won’t go back to string. So far so good, probably have trimmed 10 km of weeds And blades still look hardly worn

Great, but not fun to put together
Was not the most fun to put together, but man this baby works well. I'm not sure the issues everyone else was having, but I hit chain fence, metal poles, cement all the time and never had an issue with the blades cracking, chipping, breaking.

Not universal as stated on the box.
This would not fit any of my 3 different brands of weed cutters. Once you receive the package there is a list of machines this will work with but it is not listed on the amazon product site. Also, i was charged a restocking fee fir returning the extra blades because the information was not available. Misleading.

Take a Chance on Meeeee.
Yep. This product is good. Not sure if anything would work and yesssss. It did. Cannot complain at all. Ya it is not a heavy duty product but it is just fine for me. I was on my second gas weed eater when the head went. Depressed I took a chance on this product. Going to buy another one for my other weed eater.

Mine is the 10%
When I went to order the blades online all of them stated that it would fit 90% of all Weedwhacker‘s. My Dewalt 20 V Weedwhacker is one of those 10%. With further research ( I should have checked earlier) Dewalt Weedwhacker’s do not take blades they only take line. My fault not the manufacture, and not Amazon
