Great invention
I removed my quick disconnect and replaced with this. The few times I may get a flat won’t be of concern. It is easy to remove the wheel if you don’t mind spending an extra 20 seconds to get the wheel off. Nobody will bother trying to get through it just to steal a tire. Just make sure not to lock up your expensive ebike at the tire. Use the frame to lock your bike up to something.

PERMANENTLY LOCKED MY WHEEL
Given the common structure of the bike frame it was slightly difficult to lock it. Once locked even though it has a range of motion regardless of how perfect the horizontal plane is set... The lock wont come off... What am I supposed to do? I was seeking to secure my wheel not to have it permanently stuck. Please help.

Wheel not stolen yet...
I installed a NutFix on the front wheel of my pavement pounder, replacing a standard 100mm QR setup. The NutFix is now holding a SON delux generator hub in place. There's not much to say. Installation is straightforward. There is an included washer with a tab that isn't shown in the product photos or many videos, but it is to be placed under the nutted end. Make sure the tab on the washer is turned toward the ground, i.e. not obstructing the hub's axle from seating in the dropout. The whole setup seems to work as advertised, although if I were a determined thief I'd probably try to brute force this thing in ways that I personally aren't comfortable testing out. ' I'd still recommend anybody using this also employ a secondary measure, such as a cable lock or U lock. The NutFix requires an 8mm open ended wrench for wheel installation and removal. 8mm wrenches are fairly small and easy to pack, and the flats on the nut are wide enough to accept my "regular sized" Craftsman wrench. I don't need to carry around an extra skinny / multi-tool style wrench to break this open. Don't go wild on the torque. Abus recommends 8 NM of torque, so that's about 20 pounds of force on the end of a tiny 8mm wrench. When I get my wheel stolen, it it falls off, I'll come back and update this review. Until then, easy install with no complaints and opens like it's supposed to -- 5 stars.
